DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
You gotta love the Arenamaster, right? Great guy. Here is a snipet of my life, Trocar
Arena style.
The Arenamaster announces to the crowd, "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, for all
that love the hacknslash and gore of arena combat, allow me to present Trocar's Turn
415 Duelmasters fight."
A voice up in the nose bleed section yells his support for cornpop. He gets bombarded
with rotten fruit.
The Arenamaster continues. "First on the sands is your reigning and 4 time Duelmaster,
SYNTH!"
Another voice calls out, "get on with the fight!"
Arenamaster continues, "His opponent is some clown in a fur costume named Fozzy."
Arenamaster walks over to Synth and says, "This guy is a poser. Kill him!"
He then walks over to Fozzy as the Kannar whines, "I'm sorry I couldn't pay you this
week. My wife stole all my coin."
Arenamaster tells Fozzy that Synth is going to carve him into 14 pieces of meat to
feed his hogs!
Fozzy is stunned!
Arenamaster yells, FIGHT!
Fozzy looks pale as a ghost and appears to be trying to hack up a furball
Not wasting a second, Synth leaps into the air taking a furious slash with his
scimitar!
Fozzy nearly has his right hand severed from his arm.
Synth cleverly says, "Good thing I didn't hit your fingers or your new nickname would
be 3-finger Fozz."
Fozzy is desperate as he realizes the horrific power of the blow.
Fozzy is running in circles as if to look for an escape.
Synth is surprised Fozzy hasn't quit.
Synth times a devilish attack and strikes Fozzy in the right hip.
Fozzy stops running and calls out, "MOMMY!"
Fozzy is now waving his arms around frantically while calling out, "Save me! Someone
please save me!"
Synth slashes his scimitar into the circle of waving arms, striking Fozz in the right
arm.
Fozzy slowly sinks to the sands crying, "please sir, don't kill me. I have a wife and
3, err no 5 kids to feed."
Synth stays his hand commenting, "At least you are good at something," chuckling at
his own mirth.
Arenamaster screams out, "And your winner and still Duelmaster, SYNTH!"
The 14 fight fans in attendance stand and scream their approval.
Synth thinks to himself, "I love a standing ovation. The fans truly love me."
Synth salutes the Arenamaster and the fans.
Meanwhile, the medics come running out and pick Fozzy up, tossing him on a stretcher
to carry him too the infirmary.
Fozzy is screaming, "I hurt! I really hurt!"
Well, another day and another gold coin. As Synth walks from the arena he is heard
mumbling, "Maybe today is the day I get lucky with Rosie the barmaid at ye ole
tavern?" He slowly smiles. The End.

SPY REPORT
Good day, in TROCAR a quiet thief gets rich, but a quiet spymaster gets poor.
So bring me ale and harken to my tidbits of news. And let's see, FIR fought CLOGGED
DRAIN and gained 35 points and contributed to TREES' 1-0-1. RIZZO has lost to KLYN,
falling 17 points, while helping make THE MUPPETS a 1-4-0 turn. RALPH challenged for
the Duelmastership this turn, attempting to dethrone PLANET 9's warrior. We should
ask RALPH about the thrill of victory, and what being the new Duelmaster does for a
warrior, it's now the one to ask. Can someone confirm a rumor for me? I hear the
top team makes their losing fighters do dishes at The Warty Toad until they win.
Maybe?
Oriental wise man once say, 'Hiding behind shields prevents proper sun tanning.'
Inscrutable, but true. THE MUPPETS has cause to stand tall, as they were TROCAR's
most avoided team. A smart manager knows this is a team to beat. And avoiding THE
MUPPETS more than any other team we find BASH BROS BATHROOM. TROCAR, are we going to
accept, or respect this sort of thing?
A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man only once. Wise men know this to
be true. Banners at half mast, warriors, BASH BROS BATHROOM has lost CLOGGED DRAIN,
and you might say all of TROCAR has felt the loss, except maybe TREES. We'd like to
remind certain teams not to rob the graves of their enemies. You know who you are;
and it's considered rude.
I like this place, TROCAR, the taverns have old wine, and young serving girls.
Who could ask for more? Well, I'm burning daylight here in TROCAR and I've a long
