Notes from the arena champ.
It is always an honor to obtain the throne...it is Divine Right to claim it by
taking another warrior's life. Well, that is what the boss always preaches, at
least, so when the opportunity arose to send my opponent to the afterlife I took it.
This is what we get paid for. This is our life. Join with me, Rocanis, and raise
your glass to your champion and as the ale flows tonight as you worship me, pay
homage to Prongron, fore he was the sacrificial lamb that the Gladiatorial Commission
matched me up against. They said that the arena fans wanted death on the sands...
they say that you needed it...and they say that you Wished for it...your Wish is my
command. Until next cycle.

Greetings, Warriors of ROCANIS. Allow this humble servant Novgorodny Vir to
give you a respite from the fights in the form of this Spyreport. Practice pays for
SLIM ODDS, who pummelled MAGE'S APPRENTICE, to pocket 19 points. DALE certainly had
a baffled expression on his face, after losing to LARGE DOG and losing 11 points in
the process! Can you believe it? WISHLIST apparently has better things to do as
ROCANIS' Duelmaster than show up and fight! What can be a greater victory? BITTER
VETCH has taken his place as the top, as ROCANIS' new Duelmaster. Word has it one
team in ROCANIS is taking speech lessons to try to bore their opponent to death.
I'll bet it works.
A Zenmaster once told me, 'Does not the spinning wheel turn? And do not the
little birds cry out?' Any ideas? Perhaps the warriors of REDHORSE should take up
some hobbies, as they are the most avoided team... The warriors of REDHORSE found
their efforts at combat frustrated as RESCUE RANGERS apparently had more important
things to do than fight.
Ah, the duel! The roar of the oppenent, the smell of the crowd! Ask not a
spymaster for counsel, for he will pontificate long after you have fallen into an
unconscious stupor.
