Notes from the arena champ.
Well here I am again having fought an npc. JE is mad at me for my column last turn
so he told me he doesn't care what I do in the arena anymore. I figure he just
basically let me off leash so I am going to do things that would really upset him.
So everybody look out for the childish antics. 'Til next time.

SPY REPORT
Hail ROCANIS! Warriors of the arena, prepare to be praised and blamed for your
deeds. It seems the training can make the difference, as ELEVENTH HOUR is pushed out
of top team by GET, who came from 2nd with a 4-0-0 this turn. The RESCUE RANGERS
guild has had a 3-1-1 turn and deserves to be watched in the future. You never know
where this kind of thing can lead. And let's see, MEABEER fought MICHELLE and gained
16 points and contributed to GET's 4-0-0. ZANDER has lost to BURST APPENDIX, falling
13 points, while helping make ELEVENTH HOUR a 0-5-0 turn. Defending his title for
another turn, TOE kept ELEVENTH HOUR's warrior, NIKALA, from claiming the throne. By
the way, was that our Duelmaster that I saw last night, cramped under the table at
Mylar's?
He who challenges well, fights well. He who avoids without cause, shall lose
for good reasons. My mama told me that one. I also notice that the ELEVENTH HOUR
stable was the most avoided team this turn. Come on ROCANIS, what are you afraid of?
And avoiding ELEVENTH HOUR more than any other team we find REDHORSE. ROCANIS, are
we going to accept, or respect this sort of thing? The most challenged warrior this
turn was ELEVENTH HOUR's warrior NIKALA. More fighters challenged her than
challenged the Duelmaster! I don't know about you, but IT challenging down 28 points
to REDHORSE's EATS GRASS, is not really worthy of GET. We're not surprised to hear
that IT won victory over EATS GRASS, but I bet it would be interesting to hear why
GET made such a challenge.
A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man only once. Wise men know this to
be true. A brave warrior does not carry a red shield, he has nothing to cover or
hide when the fight is over. Consider well.
Remember, blood on the purple robe does not change it from a purple robe. Dare
to fight bravely. Always good to rest in ROCANIS, but never good to wear out my

The 2006 Mordanti Alliance Olympics are off to a grand start! With seventeen teams
declared, running under eight different flags (not to mention six additional non-
Olympic teams present), it is looking to be as tough as any previous Olympiad, if not
more! Olympians petitioned the Commission to make an allowance for late entries, and
the Commission agreed, and will allow new entrants to partake, as long as they are
active by Round 3 (T546, due May 29th). So if you wish to enter, please email your
intentions to amicitia@gwi.net with team name, manager name, and affiliation
(alliance name or independent), or show up in Mordant (DM-1) on, or before, May 29th
and place your declarations in the newsletter!
