Notes from the arena champ.
I'm one of those few who really doesn't want to be here. Oh sure, some of you
think this is some kind of honor. Not me. See, I already proved I'm the best in the
land by eliminating all who stood before me in my first tournament ever. In fact, it
was so much fun I want to do it again! I'm training to make myself as ready as
possible for a Champions title in the very same tournament in which I won Rookies
last year. My hope was to escape the gladiatorial commission's notice but alas old
Krait wasn't up to the task and both Rattler and Lovable Larry (says who?) were too
scared to put their chits in the tumbler. Alas I may have to resign myself to the
spotlight for the next three turns and hope that our friends on the Isle have their
eyes fixed elsewhere. Good luck to those who may be unlucky enough to oppose me,
you'll need it!

SPY REPORT
I was going on vacation, see? Surf, sun... But what do those bums say? "Hit
the road, Debby Tonte. ROCANIS needs a spyreport." Oh, well. The guys at GRIZZLED
VETERANS like really pulled together to get a 1-0-0 this turn, moving up by 3. MVP
award for SERGEANT 6? MEDAL OF HONOR A11's proud of him after beating ELIN GALLIO
and getting 19 points. Talk about yer big time losers! ELIN GALLIO got smashed by
SERGEANT 6, and lost 16 points! Don't you think the Duelmaster is being unfair? I
think SWYTAI should let SERGEANT 2 be Duelmaster for a while, without fighting about
it. I hear the top team insists all their warriors get nine hours sleep. They want
photogenic fighters for PR photos.
I gotta admit I haven't been in "deep con caves" with any spies. Really, I just
wing this stuff. SERPENTS' HOLD was the most avoided team. Is a 62-64-2 record
really that scary? Is there some deep dark secret why GRIZZLED VETERANS' been
avoiding SERPENTS' HOLD so much? Or is it just that they're too scared?
What does a fighter fight for? I mean, the crowds don't give a hoot if someone
gets killed. Not after four more fights. What if they had a fight and nobody showed
up? I'd be out of a job, that's what!!!
Remember, blood on a purple robe may stain. Soak it in cold water, and hand
wash. I know how much you like reading this stuff, but I really should stop. I had

Announcing the 1st Veterans Ballot for the Shadowspire Hall of Fame.
Here are the voting rules.
First Ballot: Anyone that has played a turn in Shadowspire during turns 1-200 is
eligible to vote.
One ballot per player. Having multiple teams does not mean more than one ballot.
Give Team name and Manager/Real Name when voting.
Vote for a max of 10 warriors on the ballot.
You CANNOT vote for your own warriors during the first vote.
The top 10 warriors receiving votes will go to the Finals Ballot. (Any ties for
tenth will be also be included in finals.)
NOTE: All warriors that DO NOT receive at least one vote will not be eligible for
future HOF ballots.
The Finals Ballot:
It will be a YES or NO vote by all players that have graduated a warrior from
Shadowpsire in the first 200 turns.
For a warrior to be inducted into Hall of Fame they must receive at least 60% yes
vote.
