TEAM SPOTLIGHT
Hail gladiators of Rocanis!
The gods of the plains saw it fit for me to remain as Rocanis' Duelmaster for a second
turn. However, breaking Jommy's weapon in minute two did give me the advantage, which
made his last hit a little less painful.
I didn't challenge anyone this turn, as I'm unsure if I could challenge champions, so
it'll be interesting to see which Men of Steel gladiator I match up to this turn.
Speaking of Men of Steel, I was surprised to see Hochopepa with a torch in his hands
for the night games last turn, but even more surprised he returned. Congratulations,
as that is no small deed! I thought he won the previous match too. I'm expecting to
see great things from him, as no gladiator returns from the Dark Arena the same.
Maybe it's a new found feeling towards life, but equally likely they don't want their
manager to send them back again.
Speaking of returns, I'm glad to see Pancakes of Get back in the arena, which is
another unusual gladiator name--oh wait, I get it. I love play on words. However, I
think their manager will need to go back and Get his other stablemates where ever he
left them. I'd check the breakfast table.
Speaking of Get, it's time me to get going for the Duelmaster's feast at Mylar's.
DA1, I couldn't get Mylar to waive your cover charge this time as it is renowned that
when you lose a fight, you can really pack it away with comfort eating. However, I'm
picking up the tab for Jommy for allowing me another turn on the throne.
Finally, to my fellow gladiators, I will leave you all with some words of
encouragement. Remember, each defeat in the arena is only a delay on the long road
(or short in my case) to becoming the Duelmaster of Rocanis.

SPY REPORT
Much has changed in ROCANIS since last I was here. Never fear, Olaf Modeen
adapts to many situations, as do all successful fighters. What's with TARGUS? He
actually beat ROCANIS' AMBITIOUS GUARD, and walked away with 13 more points from the
fight. Laughs were big at MEN OF STEEL while they watched MUD KING clobber PANCAKES.
He lost 5 points and got bruised from objects thrown from the stands. DA1 was
reminded on the sands why ANUSHA is Duelmaster. Advice to fighters with a 1
will--give up fighting!
No matter the time or place, men will always duel. ROCANIS thinks MEN OF STEEL
and their 330-370-45 is too much! If at first you don't succeed, give up...
Management must be dealin', as the boys at SKULL SQUADRON ain't reelin'! MEN OF
STEEL's mad!
There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit. Do you want the fighters
to walk away, or not? Hmm... More surprises must remain in store for me, if
GREYLOCK can return from the Dark Arena. HOCHOPEPA looked pretty sick and surprised
when he learned MEN OF STEEL is sending him to the Dark Arena! Whadd'he expect with
a 6-7-1? Many a warrior has met his fate in a hungover stupor. You young
rapscallions, take note!
Who knows what the future holds for a warrior. More fights, there's no doubt.
ROCANIS is a nice place to live, but I don't like to live in nice places. Time for
