DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
Hail gladiators of Rocanis!
It is I, Bosh of the Skull Squadron stable and it's time for my first and last
Duelmaster Column, before I head to the Isle of the Eye. I'm surprised and yet not
surprised to received my invite. I must have miscounted my political points, as I
thought I wouldn't receive my invite until next turn and fight in the champion's
tournament immortal. Unfortunately, I will have just missed it.
I also wanted to take a moment and welcome back Grizzled Veterans with their
impressive 72.7% winning record percentage to Rocanis--I think.
For my last fight, I'm going with torch in hand and try out my new rhythm and new
favorite battle axe in the Dark Arena. I was hoping to see the Three Headed Knight
also take up the torch, but I also understand why. It's commonly known that the only
thing that likes TP scums more than the Dark Arena monsters, are droves of aimed blows
in ADM. For anyone who might want to cross swords, or axes, again and read newly
crafted arena spotlights, I'm traveling to Talahya #100.
In closing, it's time for the Duelmaster's feast at Mylar's and everyone is
welcome. The guest of honor, other than me of course, is Chicken of Bristol of the
Knight of Ni stable for a worthy match for the title of Duelmaster. I loved it when I
first heard you returned to the sands, but as we all know love hurts and I found
myself defeated in our first match. Our second match tied the score. The third and
final match was the deciding factor. I was extremely nervous seeing how short the
fight was and how it started off, but in the end it was an honor that I fought you for
the throne. Your meal and drinks are on me.
To my other fellow gladiators, I will leave you all with some words of
encouragement. Remember, each defeat in the arena is only a delay on the long road to
becoming the Duelmaster of Rocanis and a Lord Protector of Alastari!

SPY REPORT
Ready for some action-packed adventure, some thrills, chills and spills? Well
fergit it, cause this is the Spyreport for ROCANIS. MVP award for CHICKEN OF
BRISTOL? KNIGHTS OF NI's proud of him after beating NAKOR and getting 24 points.
Talk about yer big time losers! KROM got smashed by CTHOFUR, and lost 8 points! The
Duelmaster isn't going to stop just cause he's Number One! LADRO KHAN knows this.
He was Dark Arena Challenged by the Duelmaster. This Duelmaster is like something
else! BOSH stopped LADRO KHAN dead in his tracks! Who was the wiseguy that said
ROCANIS' Duelmaster was paying for drinks at The Grub & Rub Bar and Bistro? Don't
look at me!
AAARRGH!!! I HATE SPYREPORTING!!! Sorry. I just had to say it. MEN OF STEEL
was ROCANIS' most avoided team. Is there some award for that? I don't know what
SKULL SQUADRON's been doing. They certainly haven't been accepting many fights from
MEN OF STEEL, that's fer sher. Like, is CTHOFUR popular, or what? He was challenged
the most in all of ROCANIS! He's got a 8-2-0, is that good?
Challenges, revenges, Bloodfeuds. All ROCANIS ever talks about is fighting!
Me, I'm more laid back. Pinch me, I must be dreaming!!! BOSH returns from the Dark
Arena, maybe a "little upset" at his SKULL SQUADRON teammates... CHICKEN OF BRISTOL
of KNIGHTS OF NI wasn't planning on killing NAKOR, I bet. Now he has to worry about
being Bloodfeuded, and getting put on lists... Fight, fight, fight. Is that all you
guys can do?
