DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
Well, looks like it is off to the Isle and into retirement for me. The truth is
that I'm probably not even going to waste time traveling to the Isle. I'm just going
to get my plot of land here in Illis and take up farming or some other mundane
activity.
For those that are interested, I end my career as such: 11+2-13-4-15-21-8-15
PR. I fought my entire career under the curse of Little Damage. I have a Master
Riposte, Expert Attack, Master Parry, and an Expert Defense. The Commission tells me
I like a Very Low Activity Level and a Moderate Offensive Effort, along with the
Epee. I like to learn Riposte skills, which became painfully obvious early in my
career.
That is all from the lofty throne. Good luck to everyone that will be battling
for my seat next turn!

I was going on vacation, see? Surf, sun... But what do those bums say? "Hit
the road, Debby Tonte. ILLIS needs a spyreport." Oh, well. I don't wanna hurt
anybody's feelings or anything, but DAMAGE INC. really goofed with their 0-0-0. The
guys at ISLE OF SKYE like really pulled together to get a 2-2-1 this turn, moving up
by 7. MVP award for SOUL SCOURGE? VILE REAVERS' proud of her after beating DUFF and
getting 14 points. Talk about yer big time losers! CHURCH OF RISING SUN got smashed
by THERE IS A GOD, and lost 11 points! What a putz! EVANGELION fights so hard to be
Duelmaster, then quits fighting and loses the title. No one said she was a genius...
And I was just getting used to the ex-Duelmaster's habit of...(!) Oh well, welcome
DUFF. Aren't ISLANDERS proud. (Oh, my.) Who was the wiseguy that said ILLIS'
Duelmaster was paying for drinks at The Dripping Blade? Don't look at me!
So just why would someone becomes a warrior anyway? It can't be for these
really neat Spyreports can it? IMPROVED ILLUSION was ILLIS' most avoided team. Is
there some award for that? Is there some deep dark secret why CHAPEL ROCK's been
avoiding IMPROVED ILLUSION so much? Or is it just that they're too scared? Like, is
AMMER EAD popular, or what? He was challenged the most in all of ILLIS! He's got a
8-20-0, is that good?
Challenges, revenges, Bloodfeuds. All ILLIS ever talks about is fighting! Me,
I'm more laid back. Fight, fight, fight. Is that all you guys can do?
Remember, blood on a purple robe may stain. Soak it in cold water, and hand

seeming lack of interest in reopening Delarq Tor DM 58 as a Slow Arena. This was
based upon the limited number of managers who initially entered the contest and the
even smaller number who qualified for the Illis Iron Stable Award. She is still
holding the door open if enough managers are interested. After posting a message on
the Round Table for a poll of managers who were interested in reopening Delarq Tor as
either a Slow or Fast Arena, the only respondent was Kat. Of course, his vote was
for the original option of reopening Delarq Tor as a Slow Arena. Unless enough of
you cast a vote to reopen Delarq Tor as a Slow Arena, it has become a dead issue! --
