SPY REPORT
You elder fighters surely remember me. The younger ones may call me Olaf
Modeen. I return to ILLIS once again! Biff! Pow! ILLIS watched with glee as
ISLANDERS got knocked off top spot by VINCERE AUT MORI! Phhbltt! Too much drinking
and too little dodging gave ISLANDERS a 2-3-0! I got a good laugh out of it! Ya
gotta be quick on yer feet! Keep your elbow off the table! Thrust! Block out the
pain! HANGOVERS is now ranked 3rd with a 4-0-0 turn. It seems so recently people
were saying CHAPEL ROCK was washed up, finished. But 3-1-0 moved them up 0. I guess
they're washed no more... What's with RED RED WINE? It actually beat ILLIS' DOOMIE
JUGGERNAUT, and walked away with 14 more points from the fight. Laughs were big at
HANGOVERS while they watched FLAMING MOE clobber ROSE SHELL. She lost 8 points and
got bruised from objects thrown from the stands. ILLIS has a Duelmaster who doesn't
sit back and get lazy. She challenged ISLANDERS' DUFF (8-95-0), which should prove
(ahem!) interesting. Try as he might, DUFF wasn't good enough at persuading SOUL
SCOURGE to step down from the Duelmaster's throne... I suppose you want to hear some
rumors and dirty gossip about your fellow fighters? Tough!
If at first you don't succeed, avoid. That'll get you in the Spyreports. ILLIS
thinks ISLANDERS and their 187-315-8 is too much! If at first you don't succeed,
give up... Management must be dealin', as the boys at VILE REAVERS ain't reelin'!
ISLANDERS' mad! What do people see in WIMPIRA? Hers 21-15-1? ISLANDERS ain't
talkin', but she's got 79 points. Keep challenging up 34 points, ALUCIEA THE BOLD,
and I won't have to write about you much longer. WIMPIRA always accepts those kind
of challenges... ALUCIEA THE BOLD bested WIMPIRA (ALUCIEA THE BOLD getting 30
points, too!)--Ooh baby! Now dat I likes! Taunt your opponent JULIUS CAESAR ZUL!
That was my lucky charm when I was unfairly challenged. (and by 19 points!) BOTTOM
FEEDER should have an easy win. BOTTOM FEEDER won victory over JULIUS CAESAR ZUL.
VINCERE AUT MORI calls this fighting? In my day...
A fighter's lot is filled with strife, revenge, and killing. Some fighters
don't accept this. The best do. Is it my imagination, or are fighters getting
younger every day? To die so young, so gloriously!
Many other cities have retirement homes for aged warriors. Any plans here?
ILLIS is a nice place to live, but I don't like to live in nice places. Remember--a

A few notes about e-mailed personals:
You may submit personal ads, columns, spotlights, etc. electronically, either via e-
mail to ads at reality dot com (which doesn't need any more spam, thank you) or on
the web at http://www.reality.com/duel2/modules.php?name=Ads. When you submit
something, you should get back a receipt from HAL at RSI. If you do NOT get a
receipt, your ads may have gone astray (not all e-mail makes it to its destination
any more than all snail mail does). If you DO get a receipt, it should, in the body
of the message, tell you what arena your stuff was filed in. Check your receipt to
make sure your submission made it to the intended destination. Also check to see
that everything you sent made it to the same place. Sometimes HAL, who is rather
simple-minded in some ways, will send half your stuff to another arena if the name
or number of that arena shows up at the beginning of a line. So if the word Ti
appears at the beginning of a line halfway through your ads, all the ads after that
may end up in Ti, which is closed and doesn't need ads. As a side note, sometimes
things move slowly, so don't wait until the last minute to send your ads and all.
If they get held up along the way, they may not show up until next turn. Happy
