Notes from the arena champ.
Sylvester wasn't able to overcome my unique parry bash style, but he was able to
teach me more than my last 4 opponents combined. Unfortunately, none of what I
learned will help the commission recognize that it is time for me to move on. 30 FE
has come and gone. That means until I learn the skills the commission wants, I'll be
here in Illis. G W Bush, I do believe we're scheduled to fight this upcoming round.
Good luck and perhaps we can catch a drink after the fight!

SPY REPORT
Greetings, Warriors of ILLIS. Allow this humble servant Novgorodny Vir to give
you a respite from the fights in the form of this Spyreport. Practice pays for
BELITRIS, who pummelled JOHN WAYNE, to pocket 21 points. Win some, lose some.
Speaking of which, BELITRIS was winsome, after beating JOHN WAYNE and seeing him lose
17 points. I'M A BASHER successfully staved off a grab for the roses by G W BUSH of
TALL TALES. Does ILLIS have no one talented enough to dethrone him? So who was the
warrior seen charging into immovable walls and challenging dead trees? Someone's got
a basic problem...
So much to report, so little time!

Islanders -- The only luck I've ever had is to find a job under Assur, who takes on
more unemployed bashers than he perhaps should. He then awarded me with a tourney
prize, though I might have been better off without work than to have to undergo the
resurrection process three times. And number four almost seems a foregone conclusion
as Assur has told me I WILL fight in the Dark Arena one day. My partner here in
