Notes from the arena champ.
Hail Illis! It is I, your reigning Duelmaster, once again returning a champion
from the sands. I can really get used to this, being the top dog in town! Looks
like Uncle Fester needed to bring over the whole Adamms Family if he wanted to give
me a run for my money. Can't blame a guy for tryin', though. Now I don't know what
exactly happened to my challenges last turn, so I'll give it another go. The honor
goes out again to Lord Foul and I'm Powerless. But I kind of like the purple robes,
so they'll have to bring their A game if they want to take it from me!

SPY REPORT
Hail and well met warriors of ILLIS! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp Eyes,
Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. In one of the week's more notable duels,
DILLIS RHIN put down APPLESEED, causing her to lose 14 points of recognition in the
process. As is fitting, the most sought after warrior on the challenge boards this
week was none other than Duelmaster BURNING RUBBER himself. Most watched of the
fights this week, the spotlight was on LORD FOUL as he bore arms against the
challenge of reigning Duelmaster BURNING RUBBER. Although LORD FOUL made a valiant
effort, it did not suffice to topple the reign of victorious BURNING RUBBER. No
confirmation, but my sources claim that the top team has gained their position using
magical aids. Charmed weapons perhaps?
But come now, let us look deeper into the maze of contention and crossed blades
that is city ILLIS. My inside sources tell me that the team to beat in ILLIS these
days is BLOODGUARD. At least, most blades in town are looking to avoid them.
Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it was that spent the better part
of last week avoiding BLOODGUARD. Indeed it was BASHAHOLICS ANON. I can not but
mention with disdain the name of I'M A BASHER who this week posted a challenge to a
warrior a full 12 points below in the rankings. I thought I'M A BASHER showed great
skill and promise when he lost to BELITRIS. All right, so I slept through it! Big
deal!
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? Some say a warrior is judged by the way he bears arms. One thing
is sure, better a dagger in hand then a sword on the belt!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
already in ILLIS. Nice atmosphere you have here! More than a sharp eye must I keep,
indeed a stout pair of legs must I keep as well! The endless paths of Alastari await
