SPY REPORT
Much has changed in ILLIS since last I was here. Never fear, Olaf Modeen adapts
to many situations, as do all successful fighters. Apparently ILLIS isn't filled
with as many gutless wonders as I thought. The Dreaded Duelmaster got 2 challenges
this turn! See how the Duelmaster Bloodfeuded BOOK OF THOMAS' SEA FOAM? That sort
of initiative is how it got where it is now. SEA FOAM was reminded on the sands why
LONG ISLAND is Duelmaster. I suppose you want to hear some rumors and dirty gossip
about your fellow fighters? Tough!
If at first you don't succeed, avoid. That'll get you in the Spyreports. How
well I know the feeling of being in the most avoided team! Don't fall out of
practive, BOOK OF THOMAS! The bums at NEXUS 5 couldn't face the challenges from BOOK
OF THOMAS! No excuse for that! MACCABEE of NEXUS 5 knows how to pick 'em. He
challenged JAR OF CLAY of CHAPEL ROCK who is up by 19. Now was this a wise move?
MACCABEE perhaps got his just desserts, seeing as he beat JAR OF CLAY and ended up
with 58 recognition points.
A fighter's lot is filled with strife, revenge, and killing. Some fighters
don't accept this. The best do. SEA FOAM larned his lesson (LONG ISLAND taught it
well), and we right likely won't be seein' 'im fight any HANGOVERS members with the
same gusto. Here's some advice: study your opponent, master many skills, fight
dirty.
Who knows what the future holds for a warrior. More fights, there's no doubt.

Algernon looked at the goats and sighed. No doubt it was a Good Deed to give
goats to people who wanted them. But why did the goats have to be gathered in HIS
office? Four of them, and they were a lot like gladiators: not smelly maybe, they
were clean goats, but pushy and sure they were the most important thing around. Maybe
they should be enrolled in the arena? No, there were only four, not enough for a
team.
He shook his head to clear it of the image of armored goats with sharpened horns.
One thing at a time. He pulled a piece of paper out of his desk drawer, dipped his
pen in the ink, and began to write.
