SPY REPORT
Thankyouthankyou. It's great for me, The Unknown Spymaster to be back in ARADI.
Hope you enjoy the show. Oh, who am I kidding? I already got paid! Say good-bye to
THIEVES GUILD, as they are pushed from the coveted top team spot by the THE MISGUIDED
stable. A stormcloud is brewing over the THIEVES GUILD guildhouse. Rumor says any
more weeks like this ones 0-0-0 may send the team to the Dark Arena. Coming up with
a solid 4-1-0 outing, BEAKER PEOPLE has advanced 8 places in the rankings. It looks
like the guys(?) at THE MISGUIDED had a good week as they went 4-1-0 to put them in
1st place. I guess steroids help! Hey everybody, watch out for ORIGINAL SHOCKER,
who flew up 34 points in the rankings after mashing AMOUR DE COSMOS like a melon.
Keep your eye on this guy. Ya know, some days it doesn't pay to walk out on the
sands. CUT-UM-MO was subdued by SALKARATH and drops 9 points. SON OF BLOODLUST got
through to the Duelmaster this turn. No doubt he was more than anxious to kick
BRUSHFIRE's tail out of the throne! Our battling duelmaster BRUSHFIRE has managed to
hold the title, fending off SON OF BLOODLUST's none too subtle advances. Better luck
next time, 4000 BLOWS. An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but an onion a day
keeps T.P.s at bay.
Let's dig a little deeper into what's happening in the ARADI arena. Did you
hear that CHEER-O-KEE'S was most avoided team this week? Well, knowing the personal
hygiene of CHEER-O-KEE'S' warriors, I'm not surprised! And you guys like to boo me?
Well, unsling your rasberries, cause INGRATE WHITE NORTH beats feet every time
CHEER-O-KEE'S smiles at them. Try farming, eh? And who is this HANA-KALI you ask,
with 38 points and a 9-7-1 record. Ooh, the tales I could tell! In a touching
display by a 'touched' warrior, CLOUDGAZER went after PIERRE TRUDEAU, who was higher
by 18 points. Well, when the dust settled, CLOUDGAZER subdued PIERRE TRUDEAU.
Being a spy is great--other people die and you spend the rest of the day
drinking to their memory. Better tanked than dead! For those of you who missed it,
Death showed up, grabbed AMOUR DE COSMOS by the ear and took him away to a place
where he won't need a coat. THE MISGUIDED has one more week to get their bloodfeud
off. I talked to the manager, but he could only grunt 'MISS FORTUNE who?'. Ya gotta
luv em! Here's some advice: warriors with little wit and will may encounter
problems on the trail to the Isle.
Well, that wasn't too bad; Alarond told me that the people in ARADI have no
sense of humor. Or maybe that they were senseless. Well, there goes another Spy

P.S. I've been privately informed, by Someone In The Know, that we can only fight
the Clishay Gang every other cycle, because of some kind of conflict with Morya. I
didn't realize that Morya had even HEARD of Aradi, much less declared war or at least
conflict on us, but there it is.

P.S. I suppose that's the best kind of conflict. You can make all sorts of
patriotic speeches and collect extra taxes, but never actually have to FIGHT

Several questions have been asked about Slaughter's Challenge that I'd like to
address and clarify.
1) All Prizes must be used on the contest team, this includes the resurrection.
Remember any fast arena team should be able to transfer to a slow arena
(except for arena 82, I believe).
2) Warriors will be allowed to fight and run in the dead tourney, should there
be one, and return if an opening can be made without breaking the rules
(i.e. only one DA fight allowed per team).

Dark Arena win or lose so if you want him/her/it dead be sure and throw the
match!
4) The resurrection potion's longevity has been extended by the commission to 6
months but the other potions (favorites, and +1 bonus) must still be used
within 2 turns and on a 5 FE or higher warrior. The resurrection can go on
any warrior regardless of FE.

Managers that have teams already established in Fratsfa need not have (3) three
warriors in the initiates. FE will NOT be a factor. Stables may be entered at any
time. Just announce your stable in the p-ads.
