SPY REPORT
Good day, in ARADI a quiet thief gets rich, but a quiet spymaster gets poor. So
bring me ale and harken to my tidbits of news. It seems the training can make the
difference, as SUPERIOR FORCES 60 is pushed out of top team by RED DOG GANG, who came
from 2nd with a 4-1-0 this turn. The RED DOG GANG guild has had a 4-1-0 turn and
deserves to be watched in the future. You never know where this kind of thing can
lead. And let's see, KOTTER fought THE HONEST MERCHANT and gained 13 points and
contributed to RED DOG GANG's 4-1-0. POTATO BUG has lost to CHIQUITA CHIWAWA,
falling 6 points, while helping make BUGS, SLUGS & THUGS a 0-2-0 turn. Due to his
absence and inability to defend the throne, EVENING STAR has lost the title of
Duelmaster. And not without some honor, CHIQUITA CHIWAWA now claims the title and
throne of Duelmaster of ARADI. Can someone confirm a rumor for me? I hear the top
team makes their losing fighters do dishes at The Blind Cyclops Inn until they win.
Maybe?
I tell you, a green quarterstaff lasts longer than a seasoned sapling. A basher
friend of mine assures me this is true.
A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man only once. Wise men know this to
be true. Is it really true that ARADI has more dishwashers per capita that fighters?
Just thought I'd ask...
I like this place, ARADI, the taverns have old wine, and young serving girls.
Who could ask for more? It's been nice chatting with you, until we meet again, keep
your swords sharp and your hammers heavy. Until you see my quill in ARADI again,
farewell-- Alarond the Scribe

WINTER FACE-TO-FACE IN SUNNY ARIZONA!
Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 13-15, 2012. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-897-7444), the same hotel as
last year by popular request. Room rates are $134.00 per night, 1-2 occupancy, which
includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary manager's reception, free airport
shuttle, free parking and free high speed internet. There's a fitness center,
jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--please make your reservation by December 15
before the block is released! (This is prime season for Phoenix, and people have been
unable to book rooms because they waited too long.) Look for the tournament info
sheet and minioverviews some time in December. We hope you're all looking forward to
it and that we will see you there!
