                                      SPY REPORT

Greetings, warriors of VALAMANTIS! Once again I've been called out of
retirement for my abilities and insights into Spyreporting. What's with ALTA CHESS?
She actually beat THE BEARS' RELENTLESS, and walked away with 20 more points from the
fight. Major screwup at THE BEARS. RELENTLESS lost 18 points to ALTA CHESS. Some
new strategies, perhaps? Maybe RELENTLESS will provide more easy wins... See how
the Duelmaster challenged MIDDLE WAY 10's DARIMA FENN? That sort of initiative is
how he got where he is now. Try as she might, DARIMA FENN wasn't good enough at
persuading TRAIN WRECK to step down from the Duelmaster's throne... Advice to
fighters with a 1 will--give up fighting!
No matter the time or place, men will always duel. The most avoided team was
THE BEARS. In my day, no team with a 293-256-22 would scare me off! What's the
problem, MIDGETS? What do people see in EB GOLLU? His 10-29-0? MIDDLE WAY 10 ain't
talkin', but he's got 59 points. BILBO of MIDGETS knows how to pick 'em. He
challenged EB GOLLU of MIDDLE WAY 10 who is up by 18. Now was this a wise move?
BILBO perhaps got his just desserts, seeing as he subdued EB GOLLU and ended up with
64 recognition points.
A fighter's lot is filled with strife, revenge, and killing. Some fighters
don't accept this. The best do. Is it my imagination, or are fighters getting
younger every day? To die so young, so gloriously!
Well, I'm pretty much through. You guys need to get back practicing. Are you
as tired of reading this as I am of writing it? Actually, I guess I'm writing it
before you read it. Oh, well. Time for my medication, so I'll leave now. Practice,
practice, practice!-- Olaf Modeen

sneaky and mean. -- Alta Chess

Yes, well, I'm glad that Alta warned me about the Rirorni, because the Veteran

This whole Kung Fu thing doesn't impress me. When *I* step out to fight, I want to
be holding a REAL weapon. Like a sword, or maybe a crossbow. -- Doc Felle

ATTENTION ALL YOU ALLIANCE-TYPE PEOPLE:
For the purposes of tourney newsletter alliance listings (when I am able to do them),
you may only be listed in ONE alliance. In other words, you have to choose! If you
are a part of Englebert's Alliance and Englebert's Alliance is "part" of Ruthrauf's
Alliance, I will list you EITHER as part of Englebert's Alliance OR as part of
Ruthrauf's Alliance, NOT both. The default would be the top-level alliance,
Ruthrauf's, in this example. If you'd rather be listed separately, let me know and I
will do so, but that will be the only listing you get. -- The Saint, keeper of ever-
more-complicated lists
