Like the magnificent Sun, rising upon the Dawn and exiling the Night for a Day,
I, Novgorodny Vir, return once again! The boys at LEGION OF LEGEND left the arena
dejected, after being kicked out of the top spot by MIDDLE WAY 10. Good show! Those
betting on LEGION OF LEGEND lost their shirt, as LEGION OF LEGEND lost their fighting
abilities: 0-0-0. Nothing works for a team like victory (How's that for a
perceptive observation?) as RIO VISTANS can attest... Practice pays for BUZZ, who
pummelled XAVIER, to pocket 16 points. Win some, lose some. Speaking of which, BUZZ
was winsome, after beating XAVIER and seeing him lose 13 points. Duelmaster HOLLY
MACKEREL from FISH MONGERS is going for the gold, as she challenged CHAOS ENFORCERS'
CRANKY. Ooh, the excitement! HOLLY MACKEREL successfully staved off a grab for the
roses by CRANKY of CHAOS ENFORCERS. Does VALAMANTIS have no one talented enough to
dethrone her? So who was the warrior seen charging into immovable walls and
challenging dead trees? Someone's got a basic problem...
A Zenmaster once told me, 'Does not the spinning wheel turn? And do not the
little birds cry out?' Any ideas? Like a horde of jackals fleeing from the lion, so
did the "warriors" in VALAMANTIS avoid MASTERS OF RAGE. As a woman of good breeding

RAGE Everyone is famous for fifteen minutes, and CRANKY is it right now. Most
challenged warrior. Isn't CHAOS ENFORCERS proud! Take heed VALAMANTIS, of the
unprincipled action of KUNG POW. By challenging ERFIN GORAM, 18 points below him,
KUNG POW besmirches the noble art of dueling. Warriors of VALAMANTIS! Do you wish

To those involved, no, I have not abandoned your stories. But I've been letting them
drift, and that has to stop, so I am taking the time to make sure that I know where
they are going, more than just "what happens next" dreamed up on the fly, before
resuming work on them. No new stories will be started until at least one of the old
ones has concluded, for the same reason: quantity can't substitute for quality.
