Notes from the arena champ.
Oh, I am so lucky to have you all to practice on. I am going to rest for a couple of
turns now. I don't want to graduate too early, you know. I will be back to raise
some havoc. Maybe the competition will improve at the top and someone will actually
beat me. -- Holly Mackeral (Hugs to Pauly -- I see daddy is here to rescue you) ;)

SPY REPORT
Greetings, Warriors of VALAMANTIS. Allow this humble servant Novgorodny Vir to
give you a respite from the fights in the form of this Spyreport. The boys at MIDDLE
WAY 10 left the arena dejected, after being kicked out of the top spot by FISH
MONGERS. Good show! Practice pays for EURO SHARK, who pummelled DANA FRISS, to
pocket 20 points. Win some, lose some. Speaking of which, EURO SHARK was winsome,
after beating DANA FRISS and seeing her lose 17 points. Can you believe it? HOLLY
MACKEREL apparently has better things to do as VALAMANTIS' Duelmaster than show up
and fight! What can be a greater victory? SQUINTS has taken his place as the top,
as VALAMANTIS' new Duelmaster. So who was the warrior seen charging into immovable
walls and challenging dead trees? Someone's got a basic problem...
A Zenmaster once told me, 'Does not the spinning wheel turn? And do not the
little birds cry out?' Any ideas? Perhaps the warriors of MASTERS OF RAGE should
take up some hobbies, as they are the most avoided team... The warriors of MASTERS
OF RAGE found their efforts at combat frustrated as RIO VISTANS apparently had more
important things to do than fight. If challenges were horses, BERTHA could open up a
fast food joint!
Like the wind whispering among the pines, do hearest I many disquieting rumors.
The audience gave a nice round of rasberries to CASSANDRA of MASTERS OF RAGE, for
expiring in such an ungraceful fashion. 8-18-0, indeed! Oh hard! that to strike a
flame, the match itself must needs be wasting!
Do not think spyreporting in VALAMANTIS is the highlight of my life. As the
seasons change, and the creatures of the wild change also, so do I feel a yearning to
leave this place. Can anything compare to the pleasure of writing Spyreports for
