SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly VALAMANTIS games. Former top team ALL ABOUT BASHERS
was unseated this week as EVIL DEATH DUDES moved up from 3rd ranking to take the top
spot with a 5-0-0 record for the round. Fortune did not smile upon AS SEEN ON TV
this time out who this turn suffered a fall into 8th position in the wake of a 0-0-0
round. Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the corner! Witness how
this week RIO VISTANS went 4-1-1 to move up 3 in the rankings. BERTHA caught the eye
of many in the gladiatorial commission as she skillfully bested DARTH PLAGWEIS and
was awarded 16 points in recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, CHUCK
put down XAVIER, causing him to lose 10 points of recognition in the process.
Unwilling to wait upon the will of others, Duelmaster DARTH TIMMY challenged GREAT
WEAPON CHOICE last week in a match to decide the fate of the throne. Not for nothing
has DARTH TIMMY in the past laid claim to the Duelmaster's throne, and this week he's
proven his combat skill yet again. No confirmation, but my sources claim that the
top team has gained their position using magical aids. Charmed weapons perhaps?
I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently
transpired. Indeed there is much I would report. I saw one fighter that warriors
avoided when this week's challenge seeking began. EVIL DEATH DUDES is feared. This
much I can say. Apparently the stalwarts of ALL ABOUT BASHERS are catching the bulk
of jests down at the challenging board for their large share of the avoids. Mighty
fighters cannot but expect competition from those below. XAVIER take warning! You
have more than a few enemies in VALAMANTIS.
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? T.R. has sworn to take up religion upon living to tell of his
recent bout with the Dark Arena horrors. A rare thing indeed! The warrior's path is
harsh. For mediocrity there is but one reward--death. This past week DARTH
PLAGWEIS, at 7-6-1, departed VALAMANTIS forever. Walk proud, warriors of BLOOD
KNIGHTS! By striking down CATTY WOMPUS you have avenged the honor of your dead.
Your virtue is known to all in VALAMANTIS. Some say a warrior is judged by the way
he bears arms. One thing is sure, better a dagger in hand then a sword on the belt!
A thought before I go. Each warrior practices one style, but must not the wise
manager learn the secrets of them all? Ahh, but I can hear the spires of a far off
