SPY REPORT
So why do I have this bag over my head? Because I am The Unknown Spymaster and
I'm going to give you a spy report!. Hey everybody, watch out for INANNA, who flew
up 26 points in the rankings after mashing PICKLES like a melon. Keep your eye on
this gal. Ya know, some days it doesn't pay to walk out on the sands. PICKLES was
defeated by INANNA and drops 17 points. In front of all the crowds, FARGO HAIL took
the Duelmaster's crown for his own. I give the bum two weeks. Advice to
bashers--never force anything, just get a bigger halberd!
Let's dig a little deeper into what's happening in the VALAMANTIS arena.
Being a spy is great--other people die and you spend the rest of the day
drinking to their memory. Better tanked than dead! Knowing when to use the right
tactics at the proper time is a very important step on the road to Duelmaster.
Well, that wasn't too bad; Alarond told me that the people in VALAMANTIS have no
sense of humor. Or maybe that they were senseless. Well, there goes another Spy

Really, the Commission is just too hidebound! I simply lost to the Venomous
Concubine, an aberrant moment for both of us, and because that dropped me ONE POINT
below two of my teammates (who were tied, the silly fools), I lose the title to

NEW TEAMS IN THE TEMPORARY TOURNAMENT ARENA (DM 85)
Please note that all new teams created at the Face-to-Face were temporarily placed in
a temporary Tournament Arena, DM 85. If you requested that your team be placed in a
specific arena, it has already transferred to that arena. Any teams not transferred
out of DM 85 by October 1 will be deleted. If you have questions about any of your

WINTER FACE-TO-FACE IN SUNNY ARIZONA!
Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 14-16, 2011. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-894-7444), the same hotel as
last year by popular request. Room rates are $129.00 per night, 1-2 occupancy, which
includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary manager's reception (yes, really!), free
airport shuttle, free parking and free high speed internet. There's a fitness center,
jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--please make your reservation by December 22
before the block is released! (This is prime season for Phoenix, and people have been
unable to book rooms because they waited too long.) Look for the tournament info
sheet and minioverviews some time in December. We hope you're all looking forward to
it and that we will see you there!
