TEAM SPOTLIGHT
Loud Mouth, a sort of hefty, red-faced, brash-looking Manager, had them sitting
around for a team "discussion." He had just explained, or rather decreed, how he was
going to kick some burro if there wasn't more winning. More!
Gulp exclaimed, "Now wait a minute-!"
But was cut off by Loud Mouth with a "Shut Up! You're a dead donkey. I already
DA'd you. Get out!"
Then Loud Mouth looked at Not A Chance, and said simply, "There's not a chance
you stay out of the DA if you start losing, so don't make a noise! None."
"I would never say anything," chipped in the cowardly Never.
"You're the boss."
"Got that right!" slammed back Loud Mouth. "Never is a fine role model for all
of you. Just win."
Loud Mouth closed the meeting and left them all sitting there to think about it.
Jerk popped up and exclaimed, "What a jerk of a boss we have, eh?"
Yay added, "Yay. This meeting is over; let's get outta here."

beating HAPPY PEASANT. NEVER certainly had a baffled expression on its face, after
losing to THE HONEST MERCHANT and losing 6 points in the process! Those who hoped
for a new Duelmaster were disappointed by KHALHUMS DWARF, of AMEN-TEI, who despite a
0-0-0 couldn't overcome AMEN-TEI's Number 1. Word has it one team in AMEN-TEI is
using psychics to predict wins. They lead a charmed life!
A Zenmaster once told me, 'Does not the spinning wheel turn? And do not the
little birds cry out?' Any ideas? Like the noble eagle soaring amongst the
mountaintops, so stand the warriors of WHY KNOT, alone and unchallenged. The
warriors of WHY KNOT found their efforts at combat frustrated as EXCLAMATION!
apparently had more important things to do than fight.
