DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
How can a busy Duelmaster get prepared to fight, when they have all these demands
on their time. Eh? Here's what the boss made the whole team participate in on the 4th
week end:
4th -- pick up his eldest daughter and two grandkids at airport; big spread of
hot dogs, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, salad, drinks of choice (non alcohol, dang
it); fix up new Roku TV (needed grandkid technology to help); play Careers and Sorry
with kids, take kids to pool;
5th -- up early to make breakfast and coffee (more coffee); 4.5 mile hike at
Paris Mt State Park; back to the pool; more Careers and Sorry;
6th -- Escape Room for Kidnapped; Downtown Greenville wandering: Shopping at
Trader Joe's (3 normal; 1 vegetarian; 1 vegan -- I hate Trader Joe's); more games;
more pool;
7th -- finally a break as we all cram into a Rav4 and travel to Charleston to add
another daughter, son-in-law, and new 1 yr old grand-girl to the mix; and on and
on.....
You get the idea. Now I am tired. I just want to practice my moves for the next
round, but I think I shall just take a little nap........

SPY REPORT
Welcome AMEN-TEI. I, Olaf Modeen remember this place well. Many the fights
have I fought here. The celebrations, the disappointments... What's with ANNO
DOMINI? He actually beat WAYFARERS' ALBERT HALL, and walked away with 18 more points
from the fight. Laughs were big at AMEN-TEI while they watched KHALHUMS DWARF
clobber NEVER. It lost 12 points and got bruised from objects thrown from the
stands. Try as she might, FAMILY TAXI wasn't good enough at persuading NOT A CHANCE
to step down from the Duelmaster's throne... I suppose you want to hear some rumors
and dirty gossip about your fellow fighters? Tough!
Speaking of cowardly avoiders and unfair challenges... How well I know the
feeling of being in the most avoided team! Don't fall out of practive, WAYFARERS!
In my day, no team with a 1031-1138-21 would scare me off! What's the problem,
EXCLAMATION!?
A fighter's lot is filled with strife, revenge, and killing. Some fighters
don't accept this. The best do. We all knew it had to happen sooner or later. A
warrior can't stick around with a 10-36-0, and ANNO DOMINI easily took care of ALBERT
HALL. Here's some advice: study your opponent, master many skills, fight dirty.
Many other cities have retirement homes for aged warriors. Any plans here? The
end of another Spyreport! That's cause for celebration in my book! I don't want to
