Notes from the arena champ.
Never, Never, Never! Never would I have thought or expected to be Duelmaster.
Never! Yet, now I have two. Amazing! And, I just might be headed to The Mailer as an
immortal Champion. Really! I should get my invite next turn (this one as you read
this) and that makes (if I win) my 30th fight, my 19th win, and my 21st political
point. Never!
How can one named "never" be so sure of himself? Hmmm. I am so sure, that I will
now reveal all I know of me:
15-6-10-17-9-10-17 Basher; +3 Parry, +1 Attack.
Poor Endurance, Great Damage (a bonus!).
Masters in Attack, and Experts in all but Riposte.
Favorite weapon I think might be the quarterstaff.
Look out for me! I may go a mere opher in The Mailer, but I will be one happy
Lord Protector. Never!

Well, what are you looking at, AMEN-TEI? Ain't you never seen Snide Clemens
before? Ah, shaddup and listen to my news. Of course, we're all terribly impressed
to see CLOUD SHADOW win a fight and gain 14 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, VETERAN
MERCENARY beat JERK and JERK lost 8 points. You're breakin' my heart. And if
variety is the spice of life, AMEN-TEI may be getting bland, as NEVER stays top dog
in the city. Kickbacks and bribes, kickbacks and bribes, how else do you think some
of these guys win their fights? Skill? Ha!
Well, let's take a look at some more misdeeds of you miserable sword-boys.
WAYFARERS, I suppose you'll be glad to know you were this turn's most avoided team.
Care to know who is the most afraid of you? And who led the way in this mass act of
