Another title. I already told you all about myself. So all I have to say is ----- I
graduated and I ain't fightin' one more lick! So there!

SPY REPORT
Hail and well met warriors of AMEN-TEI! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp
Eyes, Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. JERK caught the eye of many in the
gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested KUNG-FU MASTER and was awarded 9
points in recognition. Due to its absence and inability to defend the throne, AARGH
has lost the title of Duelmaster. This time victory fell to the grasp of the
usurper. All hail JERK, Duelmaster of AMEN-TEI! Heed this! A seer has warned that
if exactly 6 die in duels this week, the whole city shall perish! Just remember...5
or 7!
But come now, let us look deeper into the maze of contention and crossed blades
that is city AMEN-TEI. My inside sources tell me that the team to beat in AMEN-TEI
these days is WAYFARERS. At least, most blades in town are looking to avoid them.
Apparently the stalwarts of EXCLAMATION! are catching the bulk of jests down at the
challenging board for their large share of the avoids. Mighty fighters cannot but
expect competition from those below. BARRETT INCH take warning! You have more than
a few enemies in AMEN-TEI. I cannot but express pride for the fearlessness of PSHAW
who cast caution to the winds and challenged BARRETT INCH, a fighter 26 points
higher. Do not the gods reward courage? PSHAW it was that claimed victory in the
bout, while also rising 21 points in recognition.
Vendettas. Bloodied blades and broken spears. Indeed the city has seen more
than its fair share of red in recent times. I must report the passing of LIGHT
BREEZE, veteran of many duels. 6-6-0 final record Hers was not illustrious--but
death plays no favorites. Some say a warrior is judged by the way he bears arms.
One thing is sure, better a dagger in hand then a sword on the belt!
The girls are as pretty in AMEN-TEI as ever I remembered them....and the
fighters as ugly! Don't let your reputation slip! Sadly warriors, now longer can I
keep thy company nor savor the ale of thy fine city. Depart I must and soon! Till

WINTER FACE-TO-FACE IN SUNNY ARIZONA!
Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 17-19, 2020. It will be
held at our usual Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-897-7444). Room rates
are $179.00 per night, 1-2 occupancy, which includes full cooked breakfast,

HALLOWEEN TOURNAMENT UPDATE
It has come to our attention that a warrior, Voodoo Toad 85-14776, was sent to
the Dark Arena and slain in order to be classed as a Dead Challenger in this past
Halloween Tournament. As this warrior is a Zombie, this was against the rules because
immortal warriors may not challenge the Dark Arena. (An exception is granted so a
warrior may challenge the Dark Arena on his very last turn after receiving an
invitation to Advanced Duelmasters, so he can show his prowess with the Dark Arena
monsters, but this may not be used as a method of classing in the dead tournament if
he happens to die in the night fight.)
To correct this injustice, we changed the fight result for all warriors who
lost to Voodoo Toad to a win for that turn. This gave two warriors, Crazy 54 84-11494
of Crazy 88 15 and Sarokith 84-30929 of Dub O Dubs, an ending record of 8-3, which
grants them Tournament Victor status and resurrection.
We realize this is not a perfect solution but hope it will make some amends
for the warriors who lost to this misclassed warrior.
