Sorry about all the fights (and losses for the Sand Dancers), but apparently no
one else wanted to fight me. I'm outta here, Tebas, so maybe you'll soon graduate.

Well, what are you looking at, DAL SHANG? Ain't you never seen Snide Clemens
before? Ah, shaddup and listen to my news. If this keeps up, SAND DANCERS, you'll
have to shine swords instead of use them. A drop of 7 in the rankings? POSSE turned
their 4-1-2 turn into a 2nd place rank in the listings this turn. Any better than
this, and you get put on hit lists. Gee, I'm impressed, a 3-0-0 is nice, but don't
get cocky, DIRTY SOUTH, the Fates teach humility, and the Fates are proud. Of
course, we're all terribly impressed to see CRIMSON CRUSH win a fight and gain 25
points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, CRIMSON CRUSH beat KO LAO-DEN and KO LAO-DEN lost 22
points. You're breakin' my heart. And if variety is the spice of life, DAL SHANG
may be getting bland, as BACKLASH stays top dog in the city. I'm not in a very good
mood today, but why am I telling you this? You want to know what's new, don't you,
DAL SHANG?
My mother always told me, 'If you don't have anything nice to say, start
talking.' I loved that woman. What's the big D? REFUGEES was the most avoided team?
Bunch of lily livered... grumble... mumble... curse... And it looks like GOT IT FOR
CHRISTMAS avoided them the most this turn. What a pack of would be losers, if you
ask me. Hmph. JERI TAVAN was challenged more times this turn than the Duelmaster.
Now was the DM insulted or feared? Heh, heh. I notice RED RYDER challenging down 21
points to fight KASSAL TEN DRU, GOT IT FOR CHRISTMAS doubtless has some rotten excuse
for such an insult to honor. And golly gee, RED RYDER defeated KASSAL TEN DRU.
Aren't we all surprised and impressed? I guess I can give a little credit to
VIRGINIA, NO SANTA of GOT IT FOR CHRISTMAS for challenging up by 25 to GOBARL.
VIRGINIA, NO SANTA won to get 64 points of recognition. And we have LUMP COAL in a
challenge, going down 15 points for the fight. Guess what? I thought LUMP COAL
showed great skill and promise when he was slain by WIDOWMAKER. All right, so I
slept through it! Big deal!
Some people like volunteer work in the hospitals. I volunteer for DAL SHANG's
morgue. More variety. And now a passing thought on a warrior dying young (LUMP COAL
of GOT IT FOR CHRISTMAS): You had your chance and now you're dead. Oh well...
Let's see, 7-3-1. Pretty good record for a living warrior. A sad one though, for a
dead one. Such is the case for DANNAL TEN VARN of SAND DANCERS. Tsk. Titanium
shields and bamboo daggers, guess what brave team is developing these kinds of
weapons?
What does the DAL SHANG arena have in common with the inns? It's just as
comfortable to sleep in either place. Ha ha ha ha! Just wait 'till next time I show
