Notes from the arena champ.
It has been an exciting run and immortality is mine at last. My final fight will be
an exhibition in the dark arena, we'll see what Woody can arrange. For those who are
interested, Woody has described me in the following way: stats 13-4-8-21-15-12-11,
good damage, normal endurance; present skill levels att 33, par 23, init 33, def
unknown (12-15), dec 22, rip 19; hosed/blessed (terrablood) att +2, par +3, init -1,
def unknown (-1 to +2), dec 0, rip 0; favs were high-low, parry skills, scimitar, no
tactic; overall 38 FE with a base of 62-65 and 79 skills learned. Woody thinks I
have a future in ADM and perhaps beyond so he intends to have me continue fighting in
the future. May you all bear the blessing/curse of the Mighty Ducks: learn fast or
die.
SPY REPORT
Hail DAL SHANG! Warriors of the arena, prepare to be praised and blamed for
your deeds. It seems the training can make the difference, as POSSE is pushed out of
top team by SAND DANCERS, who came from 2nd with a 2-3-0 this turn. The REFUGEES
guild has had a 3-0-0 turn and deserves to be watched in the future. You never know
where this kind of thing can lead. And let's see, ANNABEL BLACKHEART fought MY TWO
FRONT TEETH and gained 18 points and contributed to POSSE's 1-3-1. JAEGO SARL has
lost to SAGAT OF PAIDAN, falling 11 points, while helping make SAND DANCERS a 2-3-0
turn. Due to his absence and inability to defend the throne, DUCKMAN has lost the
title of Duelmaster. And not without some honor, VIRGINIA, NO SANTA now claims the
title and throne of Duelmaster of DAL SHANG. By the way, was that our Duelmaster
that I saw last night, cramped under the table at The Blazing Unicorn?
He who challenges well, fights well. He who avoids without cause, shall lose
for good reasons. My mama told me that one. I also notice that the WILD KINGDOM
stable was the most avoided team this turn. Come on DAL SHANG, what are you afraid
of? And avoiding WILD KINGDOM more than any other team we find GOT IT FOR CHRISTMAS.
DAL SHANG, are we going to accept, or respect this sort of thing? Well, sports fans,
take notice that TEBAS TEN KOGAN from SAND DANCERS was DAL SHANG's most challenged
warrior this turn. VIRGINIA, NO SANTA of GOT IT FOR CHRISTMAS had better have a good
reason for challenging down 11 points in a challenge which he won. I thought
VIRGINIA, NO SANTA showed great skill and promise when he overcame KO LAO-DEN. All
right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man only once. Wise men know this to
be true. GOT IT FOR CHRISTMAS has lost MY TWO FRONT TEETH to the arena in the sky,
but they don't seem to be worried. What do you expect from 5-8-0? We'd like to
remind certain teams not to rob the graves of their enemies. You know who you are;
and it's considered rude.
Remember, blood on the purple robe does not change it from a purple robe. Dare
to fight bravely. Always good to rest in DAL SHANG, but never good to wear out my
