                                      SPY REPORT

Greetings, Warriors of DAL SHANG. Allow this humble servant Novgorodny Vir to
give you a respite from the fights in the form of this Spyreport. CASTAWAYS posted a
nice gain, to come in 2nd. Everybody loves a winner... CASTAWAYS had cause to
celebrate, after TOES got 18 points by beating GARNO TEN KORO. HARITH TEN MORU
certainly had a baffled expression on his face, after losing to MASTER OF THE EDGE
and losing 4 points in the process! Those who hoped for a new Duelmaster were
disappointed by LOEKER SMITH, of SAND DANCERS, who despite a 19-12-0 couldn't
overcome DAL SHANG's Number 1. Word has it one team in DAL SHANG is using psychics
to predict wins. They lead a charmed life!
My mother wished me to avoid conflict, and seek the gentle trade of Spyreporter.
But warriors aren't supposed to avoid fights! Like a horde of jackals fleeing from
the lion, so did the "warriors" in DAL SHANG avoid SAND DANCERS. The warriors of
SAND DANCERS found their efforts at combat frustrated as SERPENTS HOLD apparently had
more important things to do than fight. If challenges were horses, SSSKAH could open
up a fast food joint!
Like the wind whispering among the pines, do hearest I many disquieting rumors.
Ask not for whom the sword slashes; it slashes for thee.
Do not think spyreporting in DAL SHANG is the highlight of my life. My fingers
tire and I fear my incessant prattling may cause unfair judgement upon my impeccable
character. Like a mixed metaphor, and an overtaxed simile, I now bid DAL SHANG
farewell-- Novgorodny Vir

                        WINTER FACE-TO-FACE IN SUNNY ARIZONA!

Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 14-16, 2011. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-894-7444), the same hotel as
last year by popular request. Room rates are $129.00 per night, 1-2 occupancy, which
includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary manager's reception (yes, really!), free
airport shuttle, free parking and free high speed internet. There's a fitness center,
jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--please make your reservation by December 22
before the block is released! (This is prime season for Phoenix, and people have been
unable to book rooms because they waited too long.) Look for the tournament info
sheet and minioverviews some time in December. We hope you're all looking forward to
it and that we will see you there!
