Eyes, Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. NOCALLLISTEXEMPTION caught the eye
of many in the gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested JINX and was awarded
18 points in recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels,
NOCALLLISTEXEMPTION put down JINX, causing him to lose 14 points of recognition in
the process. Unwilling to wait upon the will of others, Duelmaster XYLOID challenged
LORAND TEN SORN last week in a match to decide the fate of the throne. This time
victory fell to the grasp of the usurper. All hail LORAND TEN SORN, Duelmaster of
DAL SHANG! No confirmation, but my sources claim that the top team has gained their
position using magical aids. Charmed weapons perhaps?
Many and various are the arts of battle. In DAL SHANG "art" is a word that has
long since passed from the language! I can not but mention with disdain the name of
FAQIR who this week posted a challenge to a warrior a full 13 points below in the
rankings. I thought FAQIR showed great skill and promise when he was beat by EMBRON
THE GREAT. All right, so I slept through it! Big deal!

WINTER FACE-TO-FACE IN SUNNY ARIZONA!
Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 17-19, 2014. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-897-7444), the same hotel as
last year by popular request. Room rates are $145.00 per night, 1-2 occupancy, which
includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary manager's reception, free airport
shuttle, free parking and free high speed internet. There's a fitness center,
jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--code RSI--please make your reservation by
December 15 before the block is released! (This is prime season for Phoenix, and
people have been unable to book rooms because they waited too long.) Look for the
tournament info sheet and minioverviews some time in December. We hope you're all
