DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
Hi, y'all. Make that seven Titles. Duelmaster. I would like to stay here forever,
but I think The Commission will have other ideas. After all, I have nearly 40FE; I am
11-0 here; Appx 31-13 in tourneys; I have a dead TC (and immortality) under my belt;
and I have an awfully lot of skills in my repertoire. Who knows?
I do plan to fight as a Challenger in the Summer Mailer, but there are so many
studded up robots there, that a 3-3 or 4-3 is probably all I can expect. But I shall
try! Even if one prize-added godling kills me, I will be back. Lady Sandy has my
number, and she will just puff me back into fighting warrior fitness.
So, wish me luck. As I shall wish any of you who decides to fight in The Mailer.

SPY REPORT
I was going on vacation, see? Surf, sun... But what do those bums say? "Hit
the road, Debby Tonte. DAL SHANG needs a spyreport." Oh, well. MVP award for FARGO
BORUM? SAND DANCERS' proud of him after beating DENGAN THE TRADER and getting 21
points. Talk about yer major upsets! SCHMUCK'S GROCERY's match with RANCH ROAST
cost it a loss of 7 points! Don't you think the Duelmaster is being unfair? I think
CANNELTON should let PEARL JOSEPHINA be Duelmaster for a while, without fighting
about it. I hear the top team insists all their warriors get nine hours sleep. They
want photogenic fighters for PR photos.
Look, you guys stick to fighting, all right? The warriors of SAND DANCERS must
be getting lonely. They were the most avoided team. Do you guys know something that
I don't? I don't know what PLACES' been doing. They certainly haven't been
accepting many fights from SAND DANCERS, that's fer sher. Like, is CRAFTY popular,
or what? He was challenged the most in all of DAL SHANG! He's got a 7-3-0, is that
good? KHORGA KHAN must not be a good enough fighter to get in fair fights. He
challenged DON LO. 12 is a big difference. (Well, that's what they tell me.) I
thought KHORGA KHAN showed great skill and promise when he was subdued by DON LO.
All right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
What does a fighter fight for? I mean, the crowds don't give a hoot if someone
gets killed. Not after four more fights. What if they had a fight and nobody showed
up? I'd be out of a job, that's what!!!
I really didn't, you know, study when I was a kid. Who would've guessed I'd be
a famous Spyreporter? I gotta leave. DAL SHANG is like such a dump, and you guys
