Notes from the arena champ.
Well Crafty, you gave me quite the workout there. Would have liked a couple of
different skills. Not that I am surprised that is what you taught me, considering your
style and all. Wouldn't mind running it back, but I did change my training, do NOT
want any more of those Parry skills. No challenges going out, one avoid, in case
Crafty has something special cooked up for me. Until next time (Hopefully).

SPY REPORT
It's me, The Unknown Spymaster here with my bag to give you the news on last
week's fights. Hey everybody, watch out for HARRISON FORD, who flew up 19 points in
the rankings after mashing ANOTHER BRICK PT2 like a melon. Keep your eye on this
guy. And falling like a basher in the top ten was DOINK, who dropped 14 points after
a disappointing (to say the least) bout with OLD CLASSICO. In front of all the
crowds, RANCH ROAST took the Duelmaster's crown for his own. I give the bum two
weeks. Advice to bashers--never force anything, just get a bigger halberd!
Let's dig a little deeper into what's happening in the DAL SHANG arena. Here's
a song for you: Who's afraid of the big, bad THAT SMELL? Big bad THAT SMELL. Big
bad THAT SMELL. DAL SHANG's afraid of the big bad THAT SMELL. Tra la la la la! For
those of you who like math, try this one: THAT SMELL + Weapons That go Boom = WISE
GUYS + Avoid City. And who is this CRAFTY you ask, with 100 points and a 11-5-0
record. Ooh, the tales I could tell! In a touching display by a 'touched' warrior,
PORK SODA went after CRAFTY, who was higher by 21 points. Well, when the dust
settled, PORK SODA was beat by CRAFTY. STORMFURY of BLACK LIGHTNING had better have
a good reason for challenging down 15 points in a challenge which he won. I thought
STORMFURY showed great skill and promise when he defeated MASHED POTATOES. All
right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
Remember that an arena is not always a safe place to be, but it is one of the
most interesting, though! Ask not the elves for counsel, for they will say both yes
and no. Silly buggers, eh?
Well, there's the manager of the DAL SHANG giving me the 'cut' sign (or is that
'They're going to strangle you in the alley?). C'mon, Leadfoot, let's make some

Dal Shang peeps -- Sorry about our absence on turn 748, I know it must've distressed
all our many fans and sponsors dearly. After training with an affiliated team at their
home base, we were way laid by bandits on the return trip to Dal Shang. We fought them
off for days before they finally gave up and retreated to wherever they came from.
Upon our arrival back, we were terribly dismayed to find out we had missed the recent
round of arena combat. As it turned out, the extra 2 weeks of practice without getting
wounded in the arena, helped us greatly, as evident of our 4-1-0 turn. Thank you to
everyone for your collective concern and well wishes. -- Black Lightning Stable

SUMMER FACE-TO-FACE IN CINCINNATI!
(well actually, Kentucky)
We hope you will join us at our summer FTF in Cincinnati, Ohio, July 16-18, 2021. It
will be held at the Embassy Suites Cincinnati Rivercenter on the banks of the Ohio
River (actually in Covington, Kentucky (866-344-7548). Room rates are $139.00 per
night for kings, $179 for doubles, which includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary
manager's reception, free parking and free high speed internet. There's a fitness
center, jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--the code is "RS1" (note that's RS
one not RSI).
