SPY REPORT
It's me, The Unknown Spymaster, back to give you this week's Spy Report. Sit
back in your seats and we'll have more fun than a barrel of Zontanis. A stormcloud
is brewing over the FEARSOME LEGENDS guildhouse. Rumor says any more weeks like this
ones 1-3-0 may send the team to the Dark Arena. ANCIENT KNIGHTS is no joke as it
posted a 3-1-0 week advancing from 2nd place to 3rd place. Leg lag? Cart sickness?
Poor fare at inns on the way to DRAGONHEAD? Whatever the cause, X-POSSE will no
doubt improve on their record. Hey everybody, watch out for CHUNKY MONKEY, who flew
up 29 points in the rankings after mashing ARDASHIN like a melon. Keep your eye on
this guy. Ya know, some days it doesn't pay to walk out on the sands. VENTALEN was
defeated by TINY TURK and drops 19 points. Drawing on all of hers experience as a
7-2-0 warrior, EVE went for the Duelmastership against CADELL this week. In front of
all the crowds, EVE took the Duelmaster's crown for hers own. I give the bum two
weeks. Advice to bashers--never force anything, just get a bigger halberd!
But enough of that bunch, let's get on to the wimps who like to avoid battle!

Tra la la la la! And you guys like to boo me? Well, unsling your rasberries, cause
FEARSOME LEGENDS beats feet every time FREELANCERS smiles at them. Try farming, eh?
Well just about everybody wants a piece of WILLDRAS, who was this week's most
challenged warrior. Can any one out there say 'weasel'? Oh well, just saying
PIERCE-007 will do. He challenged 25 points down to trash WILLDRAS. Definition of
petty: PIERCE-007 bested WILLDRAS, a mismatch of 25 points.
Remember that an arena is not always a safe place to be, but it is one of the
most interesting, though! Here's some advice: warriors with little wit and will may
encounter problems on the trail to the Isle.

The Company of Brothers want to take this opportunity to formally introduce
ourselves to all players. Our play is NOT based on smack, rudeness, or anything less
than fair play (well...as fair as it gets!) and improving the knowledge base of the
game and the sharing of experimentation and information. We are not concerned with
personal politics, ideals, etc. We are players who enjoy the game.

ANNOUNCING THE RETURN OF STORMCROWE SLAUGHTERHOUSE
The last Stormcrowe Slaughterhouse was one of the closest and most exciting
contests ever held in Alastari. Such an epic demands a sequel. Therefore, Master
Darque and Jack Wolfspider are pleased to announce the return of the Stormcrowe
Slaughterhouse.
Where? Stormcrowe DM 45 (slow). When? The Slaughterhouse returns on Turn 207,
due August 19. How can you get into the action? Bring a team (one per entrant
please) to arena 45 and announce your intention to join the contest in the Personals.
Rules: This time around the rules are very simple. Each warrior win against a
higher rated opponent (one or more points higher in the ratings) brings you 10
points, against even rated opponent 7 points, lower rated 5 points. Wins against
NPCs or by a warrior who downchallenges are worth 0 points. Points are doubled for
kills. All warriors in the arena whether participating in the Slaughterhouse or not
are fair game. Points are totaled weekly, and the contestant whose team has racked
up the most points at the end of 10 turns is declared Slaughterhouse Champion.
Prizes: To be announced; we're still talking with RSI about it. Figure it will
be something pretty good. But hey, who needs prizes when the honor of being
Slaughterhouse Champion awaits!
