Assur and his goals. Foul and nasty he can be. Instead of letting me fight for
immortality, he is making me sit out and is trying to orchestrate who gets put on the
throne.
It is unfair, wrong, petty, and all at my expense!

Good day, in DRAGONHEAD a quiet thief gets rich, but a quiet spymaster gets
poor. So bring me ale and harken to my tidbits of news. It seems the training can
make the difference, as BASH BROS PHOTO is pushed out of top team by RUSSIAN BIRDS,
who came from 19th with a 4-0-1 this turn. I want to know who's buying the drinks
for who tonight at The Warty Toad, seeing as RUSSIAN BIRDS' 71-38-5 has earned them
1st place in the ranks. I understand that The Warty Toad is buying the drinks for
CANADIAN SINGERS tonight, to honor their rise to 12th after this turns 2-0-1. Hmmm.
It doesn't rain, but it pours for FAVORITE SAYINGS 6 this turn, a 0-1-0 causing a 11
flight drop in the team rankings. Hand that team a dry towel. The DISARM guild has
had a 3-0-0 turn and deserves to be watched in the future. You never know where this
kind of thing can lead. And let's see, DOG HOUSE fought SMOKE and gained 23 points
and contributed to MONGREL HORDE's 2-1-0. SMOKE has lost to DOG HOUSE, falling 17
points, while helping make BASH BROS WALKING a 2-1-0 turn. Due to his absence and
inability to defend the throne, BLISTERS has lost the title of Duelmaster. And all
eyes were on DRUNK this turn as he ascended to the throne of Duelmaster. DRAGONHEAD
has a new victor! By the way, was that our Duelmaster that I saw last night, cramped
under the table at The Warty Toad?
He who challenges well, fights well. He who avoids without cause, shall lose
for good reasons. My mama told me that one. MEAT YOUR MAKER has cause to stand
tall, as they were DRAGONHEAD's most avoided team. A smart manager knows this is a
team to beat. And avoiding MEAT YOUR MAKER more than any other team we find BB
AUTOMOBILE. DRAGONHEAD, are we going to accept, or respect this sort of thing? The
most challenged warrior this turn was FAVORITE SAYINGS 6's warrior LIFE & DEATH.
More fighters challenged her than challenged the Duelmaster! In a brave attempt, SIR
FRANCIS BACON from MEAT YOUR MAKER challenged up 22 points to fight COUNT PEPPERMINT
from the UNLIKELY HEROES stable. SIR FRANCIS BACON perhaps got his just desserts,
seeing as he overcame COUNT PEPPERMINT and ended up with 93 recognition points.
A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man only once. Wise men know this to
be true. Whatever bright future THE MASTER may have had, it's all history now. The
manager of BASH BROS MANAGER9 has lost a promising 2-0-0 warrior. Is it really true

the Litter" replacement. A PotL replacement will be 10 ordinary random replacements:
you pick the one you wish to keep, and the other 9 are discarded. Naturally, this
replacement must be placed in DM 20.
What's new:
Your CotS "status symbol": O^O (capital O, shift-6, capital O) must appear somewhere
in it's name. However, it may appear anywhere. It need not be in the beginning as was
originally stated. So names such as MO^ONSHOT or THRU THE O^O will be quite
acceptable..
Some clarifications:
* Do not forget to write a personal ad for the Turn 184 newsletter. In other words,
assuming you do start on turn 184, you need to send in a personal ad with your very
first turn.
The requirement to write a personal ad is discontinued once the Arena Achievement
stage starts on turn 199.
* This should not be an issue, but Bottles for Arena Awards will be awarded for
chartered teams only.
* If you win one or more of the CotS replacements, they/it MUST be used in DM 20.
* Note that the NO AVOIDS policy will be STRICLY ENFORCED!! If you are caught
avoiding, you will be disqualified from the contest! HOWEVER--this does not start
until turn 199; no one including myself or the Gladitorial Commission will give a
hoot about avoids until turn 199. But be sure you get it out of your system prior:
if you are caught avoiding on turn 199 (or after), you WILL be disqualified!!
* On the other hand, fielding a partial team is a no-no RIGHT FROM THE START on turn
184. You will receive a 3-bottle penalty for any inactive warrior, or 1-bottle
penalty for any inactive rookie. And your Bottle total can and will go negative if
necessary.
It is highly recommended that you place your team "on maintenance" to avoid any
complications caused due to slow mail or any other unforeseen catastrophy. In case
you are not familiar with the term: a team on maintenance will automatically run
again with its previous turn's strategies (without the challenges) even if none are
sent in or are not received in time, Just send your request to be put on maintenance
to CSR@reality.com.

We hope you will join us at our summer FTF in Washington, D.C., July 22-24, 2022. It
will be held at the Embassy Suites Alexandria Old Town near the Potomac River in
Alexandria, Virginia (703-684-5900). The hotel looks very nice and we're excited to
be in the downtown area with so many restaurants and other goodies nearby. Room rates
are $169.00 for singles and doubles, which includes full cooked breakfast,
complimentary manager's reception, and free high speed internet. Underground parking
is $15/night. There's a fitness center, jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--
