TEAM SPOTLIGHT
It was another beautiful day in Erinika and from the rooftop Sir Chester could
see some warriors training in the empty arena. He watched with great pleasure
because he knew that his stables would one day have to fight it out with those in
training down below.
Queenie, Lavilemar, Gwyon Ironhoof and Aerliaya Vhok--all of Reign of Terror
stable joined Sir Chester atop the roof to watch the warriors train below.
"I think I see Monica L. and she looks as if she knows what the hell she's doing
with that weapon," said Gwyon.
Lavilemar was watching Gebo Gungnirson knowing that soon he would have to fight
this Harkeny again and probably soon.
"Why are you watching Gebo, Lavilemar?" asked Gwyon.
"It's really none of your damn business!" quipped Lavilemar.
"Aren't we snippy? Gebo must have almost beaten you," responded Gwyon.
"I suppose it would diminish your pleasure if I would say yes to your idiotic
question, would it not?" Lavilemar yelled.
"Please forgive me...I didn't mean to upset you," Gwyon shamefully answered.
"Don't worry Gwyon, I'm sure Monica L. will be looking you up in the near
future...and didn't you almost lose that fight?" Lavilemar said with a snicker.
"OH! the hell with you!" yelled Gwyon a she walked back down the steps.
At about the time, Carpetmuncher appeared to get some air and speak with the
other warriors that were in Sir Chester's stables or were about to be. Carpetmuncher
walked over to where Lavilemar stood and asked," I heard that you are able to
challenge any of those warriors...do so!"
"Yes, Sir Chester has made sure to tell us of this and I have no problem with
that. Have you noticed the newest stable in Erinika, the DUDS? I wonder who the
manager is and if he/she is evil or good?" stated Lavilemar.
"I have no idea, but we'll know soon enough. I did hear that her name is Amy A.
Airhead and she was very displeased due to the fact that there weren't any personal
ads," chuckled Carpetmuncher.
"I do know that Sir Chester is itching to meet her," Lavilemar grinned.
Carpetmuncher thought for a moment and said, "You do realize that the only thing
that matters to our manager is that we continuously fight and win against the Odin's
Chosen stable. And if Baphomet were to show up, well you know...he could get some
too!"
Lavilemar laughingly stated, "Isn't that the truth!"
Aerilaya Vhok walked up and said with an attitude, "You call yourselves
warriors! All you do is talk of your big plans; all talk and little action gets you
nowhere!"
The warriors all laughed and decided to walk into the city for a few mugs of
wine and a bite to eat.
Queenie spotted them and jumped up joining them. "I'll buy the first round
since I lost my first fight. If I had known I was going to be matched up with such
scum...I could have made a few changes and beat the crap out of Bull Market." She
was smiling as she stated that fact.
"We know getting matched up can be a hell of a thing and no one holds your loss
against you. Well, not us anyway...Sir Chester maybe," grinned the nasty lunger-
Aerilaya Vhok.
Off they went to drink and eat. "Hey!" Queenie added. "Sir Chester plans to
find out who's running Odin's Chosen and also plans to beat Fizban and or Heathen at
any cost!"
"I'll wager a month's pay!" yelled Carpetmuncher.
"I will wager my life!!!" Lavilemar declared.
"Can anyone remember who said this, 'Til the wheels fall off then we'll carry
it'?" asked Queenie.
They laughed 'til they could hardly breathe and continued walking. Finally the
warriors found the Dripping Dagger Inn. They walked in and found a table in the far
corner so that they could see whoever walked through the door. Wine and food had
been ordered and the warriors began to eat, drink and enjoy the night in the city.
Through the door walked Fizban, Baphomet, Crip, Sultan, Heathen, Phat-Phat along
with many others. They were all out on the town having a good time.
Baphomet was the first to notice the warriors sitting at the corner table and
knew right away that these warriors worked for Sir Chester. Baphomet with wide eyes
bolted for the door, running as quickly as he could for he knew that these warriors
would violently and repeatedly kick his arse all over the Inn.
The warriors who had walked in with Baphomet didn't even notice that he had fled
the Inn. They continued to enjoy the night. The night went on without any
conflicts. Hours later with the Inn nearly empty, the table in the corner was still
filled with Sir Chester's warriors--all of whom would soon be going to the October
tourney.
Soon Carpetmuncher would be fighting in the arena and was hoping for a good
matchup. Hoping to get matched up with Odin's Chosen stable and then beating
whomever he was matched up with. Carpetmuncher and his friends finally needed up at
their guildhouse and everyone turned in for the night.

I was going on vacation, see? Surf, sun... But what do those bums say? "Hit
the road, Debby Tonte. ERINIKA needs a spyreport." Oh, well. Too bad, THE BULLS,
but WORLDWIDE GORE was just too good to be stopped. The guys at BLACK & BLUE like
really pulled together to get a 2-0-0 this turn, moving up by 4. What was the name
of that team who got 3-0-0 this turn for a total 56-51-3 you ask? (Sure) ODIN'S
CHOSEN's their name, and fighting's their game! MVP award for BLUE BLOOD? BLACK &
BLUE's proud of him after beating BULL MARKET and getting 21 points. Talk about yer
major upsets! BULL MARKET's match with BLUE BLOOD cost him a loss of 12 points!
What a putz! BULL FROG fights so hard to be Duelmaster, then quits fighting and
loses the title. No one said he was a genius... Who was the wiseguy that said
ERINIKA's Duelmaster was paying for drinks at The Dripping Blade? Don't look at me!
Look, you guys stick to fighting, all right? The warriors of WORLDWIDE GORE
must be getting lonely. They were the most avoided team. Do you guys know something
that I don't? Is there some deep dark secret why DUDS' been avoiding WORLDWIDE GORE
so much? Or is it just that they're too scared? Like, is BLACK EYE popular, or
what? He was challenged the most in all of ERINIKA! He's got a 7-9-1, is that good?
Ooh! Did CARPETMUNCHER really know what he was doing when he challenged BLACK EYE?
A 8-6-1 speaks volumes. (Zontoni said that. I don't know what it means.)
CARPETMUNCHER lost to BLACK EYE, but he got 1 points. BLACK EYE won, and got 6
points. I don't get it. People were asking me did LAVILEMAR REALLY challenge
GUNGNIR? (all right, maybe they didn't, but it sounded good!) It wasn't a
spectacular fight, or anything, but GUNGNIR wants me to write about it since he
overcame LAVILEMAR. Satisfied?
What does a fighter fight for? I mean, the crowds don't give a hoot if someone
gets killed. Not after four more fights. What a bummer! QUEENIE got wasted by
KARATIA! But with a 9-7-1, I guess REIGN OF TERROR aren't too bummed. What if they
had a fight and nobody showed up? I'd be out of a job, that's what!!!
I really didn't, you know, study when I was a kid. Who would've guessed I'd be
a famous Spyreporter? I know how much you like reading this stuff, but I really

Our next Winter Face-to-Face will be held on Martin Luther King weekend, Friday
through Sunday, 14-16 January 2005, at the Embassy Suites in Tempe, Arizona (4400 S
Rural Rd--this is the same hotel as last year). Room rates are $139.00 per night,
1-4 occupancy, which includes breakfast. The rooms are blocked. The reservations
number is 480-897-7444; tell them you're with the "Reality Simulations Face to Face
Convention" block. Our room block will be released in mid-December, so please make
sure you reserve your room before then!
Room rates include a full cooked-to-order breakfast and a complimentary two-hour
manager's reception. There is a free shuttle to the airport, as well as free parking.
The hotel is located down the freeway in Tempe. All rooms have high speed internet
(for an extra charge). There is a fitness center, jacuzzi, and pool, and of course a
bar and Mexican restaurant inside the hotel. And there's Denny's right across the
street. Look for transportation info in the tournament information sheet.
The tournament information sheet/strategy sheet should be out sometime in late
November/early December.
