Greetings, warriors of ERINIKA! Once again I've been called out of retirement
for my abilities and insights into Spyreporting. Bein' on top is great while it
lasts, THE FLYING FISHES. But how many friends do you have now? Hmmmph! I always
thought PALINDROMES was an over-rated team and they proved it with a 0-1-0! CALENDAR
GIRLS showed ERINIKA what they were made of as they fought with a vengeance to walk
off with 3-0-0. What's with TUESDAY WELD? She actually beat MIDDLE WAY 18's WILLA
VERVET, and walked away with 20 more points from the fight. Major screwup at THE
BEGINNING. EVE lost 12 points to BELGIAN WAFFLE. Some new strategies, perhaps?
Maybe EVE will provide more easy wins... Har har har! Did KITTY wimp out, or just
get lazy? Anyway, she's not Duelmaster anymore. I can barely restrain my enthusiam
for ALPHABET SOUP's outstanding member, Duelmaster R.S.I.. Wouldn't it be nice to
have live subjects to practice on? I hear some team is looking into the uses of
convicted prisoners.
If at first you don't succeed, avoid. That'll get you in the Spyreports. The
most avoided team was THE FLYING FISHES. In my day, no team with a 53-61-5 would
scare me off! What's the problem, WORLDWIDE GORE? What do people see in WONTON NOT
NOW? His 10-4-0? PALINDROMES ain't talkin', but he's got 82 points.
There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit. Do you want the fighters
to walk away, or not? Hmm... More surprises must remain in store for me, if FRISBEE
can return from the Dark Arena. Is it my imagination, or are fighters getting
younger every day? To die so young, so gloriously!
Well, I'm pretty much through. You guys need to get back practicing. Are you
as tired of reading this as I am of writing it? Actually, I guess I'm writing it

WINTER FACE-TO-FACE IN SUNNY ARIZONA!
Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 17-19, 2014. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-897-7444), the same hotel as
last year by popular request. Room rates are $145.00 per night, 1-2 occupancy, which
includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary manager's reception, free airport
shuttle, free parking and free high speed internet. There's a fitness center,
jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--code RSI--please make your reservation by
December 15 before the block is released! (This is prime season for Phoenix, and
people have been unable to book rooms because they waited too long.) Look for the
tournament info sheet and minioverviews some time in December. We hope you're all
looking forward to it and that we will see you there!
