Seen (or Not) Around Town: TOM RIDDLE was not seen around town as our reigning
Duelmaster and egoist took the turn off to prepare for the Adepts tournament. I
hereby predict the overly self assured striker will crap out in the run-offs and not
TC. Bet on it! With the Duelmaster spot up for grabs and the advantage it gives in
the Stylemaster and MVP competitions, there was a lot of jockeying for position and
challenges at the top this turn. The title fight was a rubber-match in a three fight
series between ALEJANDRO PENA and STREET SWEEPER. SS took the final in the series
and did it in style, not just sending Alejandro back to the minors, but ending the
reliever's career by literally handing him his head. This has a huge impact in
several of the competitions. VINCENT CRABBE was one of the first out on the sands to
congratulate the new DM and thank him for eliminating the only competition in the
Aimed Blow Stylemaster race. MICKEY HATCHER was seen sharpening up his Scimitar in
anticipation of spending the next couple of turns bloodfeuding the Duelmaster. This
should give Mickey a big advantage in the Slasher competition if he can unseat the DM
and hold it for a couple turns. Tom Riddle was heard to mutter that ally or no, he
will be seeking to regain 'his' spot. My spies report that Street Sweeper will get
his invite if he can pick up two more political points. So it remains to be seen
just how long Mickey can avoid Tom Riddle and hold the throne by bloodfeuding Street
Sweeper. That will play a significant factor in how far up the MVP ranks Mickey can
climb. BIGGO was seen celebrating a rare win, which could not have come at a better
time since it saved his life in the Dark Arena. Way to hang in there, Biggo!
Everyone else is glad to see you return and hope you will return to the regular arena
and losing next turn.
The DRIEHDEN TP Report (a.k.a. the Undefeated Report): What is wrong with you all?!?
How can you let this pud climb to 12-0? MOURNING STAR, YOU SUCK! GIVE UP AND LET A
REAL WARRIOR CHALLENGE AND LOSE TO DRIEHDEN TP!
Loser Lookout: PLACID continues to dominate the bottom rung of the competition as he
becomes our first ten loss warrior. Congratulations, Placid! Your ineptitude has
reached a new low!
Behind the Numbers: The total parries, as expected, continue to lead the field in
win/loss%. A while back the offensive styles were completely dominating the arena in
terms of numbers but we are seeing a slight drop off as the Total Parries climb to
number 3 in number of fights. The strikers continue to hold the number one spot with
lungers close behind. In the top 11, the lungers are coming on strong, how long will
the strikers be able to hold them off? Reality has caught up with the Bashers as
they now hold the bottom rung in terms of win/loss% as the Parry-Ripostes start to
develop and climb two spots from a couple turns ago. The kills have dropped off from
earlier in the contest as the number of fights drop and warriors get more experienced
and a bit durable, well except for the AB's, they never get durable.

Alejandro, I regret that. It makes such a mess to clean up.... I was aiming
for your right arm, but you didn't stand still much, and I kept missing it.

SPY REPORT
Oh, hi. Its just little 'ol Debby Tonte. Thought I'd check out DAIYLA KIV to
see what's new. See if I even talk to any of those losers in STYLISTS again! Didja
see where they got 1-4-0? Somebody musta won a lotta fights! What was the name of
that team who got 4-0-0 this turn for a total 35-25-1 you ask? (Sure) SUPERIOR
FORCES ZC's their name, and fighting's their game! MVP award for LOUD DRUNK? PARTY
GEEKS' proud of him after beating HOMER SIMPSON and getting 27 points. Talk about
yer major upsets! ADALIUS' match with STAN THE MAN cost him a loss of 15 points!
Like, MICKEY HATCHER must be pretty gutsy! He Bloodfeuded the Duelmaster from SAND
DANCERS. Does this guy have a death wish or what! And I was just getting used to
the ex-Duelmaster's habit of...(!) Oh well, welcome MICKEY HATCHER. Aren't 1988
DODGERS proud. (Oh, my.) I hear the top team insists all their warriors get nine
hours sleep. They want photogenic fighters for PR photos.
AAARRGH!!! I HATE SPYREPORTING!!! Sorry. I just had to say it. The warriors
of GURTARG'S AXES must be getting lonely. They were the most avoided team. Do you
guys know something that I don't? I don't know what STDS' been doing. They
certainly haven't been accepting many fights from GURTARG'S AXES, that's fer sher.
Can SAND DANCERS' DONSTAN be more popular than me? He was challenged the most, but
is that really the same? I'm not so sure DRIPS knew all the facts when he challenged
VINCENT CRABBE of SLYTHERIN HOUSE. I saw DRIPS stumbling and dribbling at The
Crystal Wheel last week... VINCENT CRABBE subdued DRIPS, and was I surprised
(right!). But its a good thing VINCENT CRABBE could stop laughing long enough to
give DRIPS a good pounding. For sure, I was holding my breath when I found out
GLAERIKIM challenged CRAZY LARRY. After all, haven't GURTARG'S AXES and FORCE OF
FIVE had a long standing duel in DAIYLA KIV? It wasn't a spectacular fight, or
anything, but CRAZY LARRY wants me to write about it since he bested GLAERIKIM.
Satisfied? TOM RIDDLE must not be a good enough fighter to get in fair fights. He
TV challenged AULDRYMBREI. 11 is a big difference. (Well, that's what they tell
me.) I thought TOM RIDDLE showed great skill and promise when he won victory over
AULDRYMBREI. All right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
Man, all these warriors dying and killing each other! Don't you guys ever give
it a break? How cruel! VUELTA PELETON heartlessly sent his to FLECHA certain fate
in the Dark Arena. Is a 4-8-0 bad or something? I hear WICKED DESTINY sent BIGGO to
the Dark Arena. What, is that like not well-lit, or what? Hey! Quit laughing!
Just because HE HATE ME had 5-6-0 was no reason for KNOCKAROUND KNIGHTS to send it to
the Dark Arena! Stop it! What a bummer! OSCAR SEVILLA got wasted by DRACO MALFOY!
But with a 6-7-0, I guess VUELTA PELETON aren't too bummed. LOUD DRUNK of PARTY
GEEKS wasn't planning on killing HOMER SIMPSON, I bet. Now he has to worry about
being Bloodfeuded, and getting put on lists... It was totally gross when LOUD DRUNK
killed HOMER SIMPSON. Blood and itty bitty body bits all over the place! Things
weren't too happy at SPRINGFIELD USA, either. Like was that some Bloodfeud, or what?
(MICKEY HATCHER vs. STREET SWEEPER, that is.) ARENA FELINES figured it was better to
let TARAPYN kill TOONCES unpunished, and not worry about getting nailed again! Hey
you guys, don't you think your families would like to hear from you? Write! (Or
have someone write for you.)
I really didn't, you know, study when I was a kid. Who would've guessed I'd be
a famous Spyreporter? I'm getting tired of writing this stuff, so I'm calling it

Assurnasirbanipal invites all to use his computerized warrior management tool. The

team incognito, all you have to do is let me know and I won't put your name on any
manager lists. It has seemed though, that more people want their names listed, even
if they do not announce themselves, than the other way around. Also, I do maintain

ANNOUNCING THE RETURN OF STORMCROWE SLAUGHTERHOUSE
The last Stormcrowe Slaughterhouse was one of the closest and most exciting
contests ever held in Alastari. Such an epic demands a sequel. Therefore, Master
Darque and Jack Wolfspider are pleased to announce the return of the Stormcrowe
Slaughterhouse.
Where? Stormcrowe DM 45 (slow). When? The Slaughterhouse returns on Turn 207,
due August 19. How can you get into the action? Bring a team (one per entrant
please) to arena 45 and announce your intention to join the contest in the Personals.
Rules: This time around the rules are very simple. Each warrior win against a
higher rated opponent (one or more points higher in the ratings) brings you 10
points, against even rated opponent 7 points, lower rated 5 points. Wins against
NPCs or by a warrior who downchallenges are worth 0 points. Points are doubled for
kills. All warriors in the arena whether participating in the Slaughterhouse or not
are fair game. Points are totaled weekly, and the contestant whose team has racked
up the most points at the end of 10 turns is declared Slaughterhouse Champion.
Prizes: To be announced; we're still talking with RSI about it. Figure it will
be something pretty good. But hey, who needs prizes when the honor of being
Slaughterhouse Champion awaits!
