Notes from the arena champ.
A light workout with a stand-in, and back on top of the scratch post, looking out at
all, surveying my domain. No conspicuous opponents this turn, so unless a tourney-guy
springs out at me from behind the sofa, I'll be fighting another stand-in this go
'round, too. That's fine with me, as long as I stay alive I should be getting my
invitation this turn, and then I'm done with the fight game.
Now, I'm going to find a fencepost, pounce on top of it, and serenade Dayla Kiv.
That's what we cats do. Serenade, keeping people awake at night. That's why everyone
loves cats, and me, the were-jaguar of Dayla Kiv.

If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
DAYLA KIV brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Of course, we're all terribly
impressed to see TANE win a fight and gain 11 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, STREET
SWEEPER beat PELDAN DJIAN and PELDAN DJIAN lost 14 points. You're breakin' my heart.
And if variety is the spice of life, DAYLA KIV may be getting bland, as REGALUS FURY
stays top dog in the city. I'm not in a very good mood today, but why am I telling
you this? You want to know what's new, don't you, DAYLA KIV?
He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day, the coward.
Some people like volunteer work in the hospitals. I volunteer for DAYLA KIV's
morgue. More variety. We're all going to die in the end, so why worry if the fate
catches up with you sooner that later?
There's got to be a better place in DAYLA KIV to get a drink than The Crystal
Wheel! Any suggestions? Phlllt! Just had to do that before I leave the fine city
