the road, Debby Tonte. DAYLA KIV needs a spyreport." Oh, well. Too bad, SPROUT OF
MY WAY!, but HELL'S PACK was just too good to be stopped. MVP award for HOWLING
BEAST? HELL'S PACK's proud of him after beating JOE SHROE and getting 10 points.
Don't you think the Duelmaster is being unfair? I think SPORTACUS should let BARTRAN
KLEE be Duelmaster for a while, without fighting about it. Who was the wiseguy that
said DAYLA KIV's Duelmaster was paying for drinks at The Crystal Wheel? Don't look
at me!
AAARRGH!!! I HATE SPYREPORTING!!! Sorry. I just had to say it. SPROUT OF MY
WAY! was the most avoided team. Is a 109-37-6 record really that scary? I don't
know what HELL'S PACK's been doing. They certainly haven't been accepting many
fights from SPROUT OF MY WAY!, that's fer sher. I'm not so sure CHOPPED LIVER knew
all the facts when he challenged MARTIN DENNY of SAND DANCERS. I saw CHOPPED LIVER
stumbling and dribbling at The Crystal Wheel last week... CHOPPED LIVER was so
studly out there in the sands! Beating MARTIN DENNY and getting 24 points. SPROUT
OF MY WAY! must be proud, for sure!

Wow, just... wow. "We salute the tourney participants. A special cheer for Gumball,
Champion of Adepts. -- Sand Dancers" I guess the Sand Dancers have a special thing
for the adepts class. Or for Gumballs. I mean, I get that. Adepts is cool.
Gumballs are, well, if not cool at least successful and, let's be honest, sometimes
that equates to the same thing. In either instance, you get that fun mix of someone
who knows their capabilities mixed with a rule-breaker and chance-taker. Someone who
walks the streets late at night, as if above the dangers of the shady districts they
traverse and, in the same warrior, someone deliciously vulnerable to vagaries of
chance or love. Or maybe the Sand Dancers' noses are so far up in the air that they
couldn't see below the Adepts. Anyway, occasionally, if you take the opportunity to
look, you might see someone much earlier in their career that... well... just carries
themselves with the poise, bravado and maturity of someone well beyond their years.
Say, for example, like someone in the Rookies class. Now, in fairness, you often get
that Rookies tool who thinks they are Ahringol's gift to dueling. You know, looking
to impress because they discovered which end of their sword to hold. But, if you look
hard enough in the most unlikely places -- for example within DAYLA freakin' KIV --
you might, and the conditional use of "might" is strongly cautioned here, you MIGHT
find the Rooks freakin' Champion. You understand the concept, do you not? The last
warrior standing from -- oh, I don't know for sure because I surely don't care about
such things -- but perhaps it was FOUR HUNDRED and THIRTY-SIX warriors?! That poser
from Gumball -- aptly named, I might add, given it suggests winning (or applying) a
prize -- waltzed through one-third of the class of warriors I did. Hey, Gumball, no
disrespect and bravo to you and yours. I got nothing but love for you. Anyway, Sand
Dancers, I guess it begs the question. What the heck am I, chopped liver?! -- Tree Fu
