Tha ends of an era. "Tha arena is done bein dominated by da Larch!" Speakin abouts
oneself in tha third personal tense is a sign a breedin. I'm gonna need such
refinements when I gets ta fightin da monsters at tha gate. Morganna, yer as worthy
as yer ever were, an ta tha rest a yaz...I'm holdin myself ups as an example a
tenacious livin an what it can accomplish...T'was a DA experiment which kick-started
me, an dat's my only kill. *surprisingly enough* Not dat some a yaz didn't
deserve...buuuut, <grin/gape> I'm da one dat's leavin. Okay, n' look...if'n I tried
ta cut anyone in half, s'okay, I forgives ya. Geez-whiz, (on crackers) Charlie was
da talk-em-up one, an he'd say "da Mountain is da place!" ...works fer me. -- The

SPY REPORT
Welcome JADE MOUNTAIN. I, Olaf Modeen remember this place well. Many the
fights have I fought here. The celebrations, the disappointments... What's with
HAROLD? He actually beat SAND DANCERS' TIBA TYL DAIN, and walked away with 12 more
points from the fight. Major screwup at LETHAL ANATOMY. PINKY OF DOOM lost 8 points
to LENTIRIA. Some new strategies, perhaps? Maybe PINKY OF DOOM will provide more
easy wins... See how the Duelmaster Dark Arena Challenged DARK ARENA's ARENAMASTER
KENDAR? That sort of initiative is how it got where it is now. The crowds were
amazed this turn, as ARENAMASTER KENDAR killed the Duelmaster, THE LARCH, leaving THE
JUG O'NAUGHTS in mourning. Wouldn't it be nice to have live subjects to practice on?
I hear some team is looking into the uses of convicted prisoners.
No matter the time or place, men will always duel. The most avoided team was
LETHAL ANATOMY. Management must be dealin', as the boys at DARK TOADS ain't reelin'!
LETHAL ANATOMY's mad! What do people see in MORGANNA? Hers 21-13-0? DARK TOADS
ain't talkin', but she's got 93 points.
There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit. Do you want the fighters
to walk away, or not? Is it my imagination, or are fighters getting younger every
day? To die so young, so gloriously!
Who knows what the future holds for a warrior. More fights, there's no doubt.
Are you as tired of reading this as I am of writing it? Actually, I guess I'm
writing it before you read it. Oh, well. Remember--a good fighter needs both good

Monty Python episode which was screamingly funny...however, upon reflection, I'm hard
pressed to explain why. My inverse relationship between size and brains really came
to the fore with this fellow, too. (I mean, the guy was named after a tree.) He and
Charlie practicing in the yard would draw the riot squad. Children, gaping at his
size, would follow in his wake. His snoring rattled all the downspouts loose. These
though...these were extra proclivities. As, him being a basher, it all came down to
mash-a-bility. Now, Chilly Charlie knew what it was to hit hard, but he claimed the
hardest his bell ever got wrung was fooling around with The Larch. -- Still, the
