SPY REPORT
You elder fighters surely remember me. The younger ones may call me Olaf
Modeen. I return to JADE MOUNTAIN once again! What's with ARNAL REDAXE? He
actually beat JADE MOUNTAIN's ZELBAN SWORDBITER, and walked away with 11 more points
from the fight. JADE MOUNTAIN has a Duelmaster who doesn't sit back and get lazy.
He TV challenged DARK TOADS' ARIA (24-22-1), which should prove (ahem!) interesting.
I'm sure JADE MOUNTAIN is excited about ARIA, the new Duelmaster from DARK TOADS.
(remember?) But when you've seen as many as I have... Advice to fighters with a 1
will--give up fighting!
If at first you don't succeed, avoid. That'll get you in the Spyreports.
A fighter's lot is filled with strife, revenge, and killing. Some fighters
don't accept this. The best do. Is it my imagination, or are fighters getting
younger every day? To die so young, so gloriously!
Many other cities have retirement homes for aged warriors. Any plans here? All
work and no play makes Olaf a dull fighter. Work and play no fighter dull Olaf.

Well, good things come to those who wait...at least that is what I have always heard.
I have been the second slowest to graduation of any of TigToad's warriors. Only the
one time Jade Mountain warrior Winston was slower. I don't have his excuse of being
a scum, either. I have a perfectly respectable 15 wit. It was little damage that
made my climb to immortality so difficult. In the end I am: 14(1)-11-3-15-21-10-11
PL. Great/Little. As TigToad expected I am a longsword favorite, which is good. It
was only throwing those criticals that allowed me to win 23 fights! TigToad expects
I will run in ADM for a time, he thinks I can do well in ADM if I am set up right and
I'm eager to prove him right. It's been a fun nearly two years, but I am out of

This was my second team and he was a nice 0-6 when I first started the Dark Toads of
Jade Mountain. Now, I realize you've done well at arranging for me to fight
standbys, but I don't think you can avoid all five of us this time as we are all five

We considered writing personals totally at random, without regard for who we fought
or who won (would you have noticed?), but that kind of spontaneity takes planning,

Several questions have been asked about Slaughter's Challenge that I'd like to
address and clarify.
1) All Prizes must be used on the contest team, this includes the resurrection.
Remember any fast arena team should be able to transfer to a slow arena
(except for arena 82, I believe).
2) Warriors will be allowed to fight and run in the dead tourney, should there
be one, and return if an opening can be made without breaking the rules
(i.e. only one DA fight allowed per team).
3) If you win your single DA match you do not get another. It's one use of the
Dark Arena win or lose so if you want him/her/it dead be sure and throw the
match!
4) The resurrection potion's longevity has been extended by the commission to 6
months but the other potions (favorites, and +1 bonus) must still be used
within 2 turns and on a 5 FE or higher warrior. The resurrection can go on
any warrior regardless of FE.
