Notes from the arena champ.
I will not shirk my duties. I expect to win. I expect DM Titles. I expect to
write a DM Column. And, most importantly, I will not give the throne back to Geronimo.
No! (Ya shouldn'ta vacated just to go to that mailer thing, Bud.)
You know my favorite part of this Title stuff? It's the special food roasted over
fine coals, and the pretty babes all lined up, (And not all are Huns, either!) and the
ever-flowing wine, (the good stuff) and special blacksmith for weapon sharpening, and,
and, and... You could say I love it.
So, you know what? Expect me here for a while. It's like home.

SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly JADE MOUNTAIN games. Former top team SAND DANCERS was
unseated this week as JADED WARRIORS moved up from 2nd ranking to take the top spot
with a 4-1-0 record for the round. BETA SAGITTAE caught the eye of many in the
gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested TALK-TO-DEATH and was awarded 17
points in recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, SUN TZU put down
EGGCRACKER, causing him to lose 2 points of recognition in the process. This time
victory fell to the grasp of the usurper. All hail JARHEAD, Duelmaster of JADE
MOUNTAIN! Heed this! A seer has warned that if exactly 6 die in duels this week,
the whole city shall perish! Just remember...5 or 7!
Many and various are the arts of battle. In JADE MOUNTAIN "art" is a word that
has long since passed from the language! I saw one fighter that warriors avoided
when this week's challenge seeking began. SAND DANCERS is feared. This much I can
say. If you didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard pressed to find any of
JADED WARRIORS last week. Busy avoiding SAND DANCERS? Loose talk at the arena has
reached my ears and it but confirms the knowledge that many fighters are after WHITE
TIGER. Watch your back!
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? Some say a warrior is judged by the way he bears arms. One thing
is sure, better a dagger in hand then a sword on the belt!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
already in JADE MOUNTAIN. Nice atmosphere you have here! Ahh, but I can hear the

up to 15 favorite sayings. Each saying must be categorized Jeer, Gloat, Boredom, Ouch,
