Welcome JADE MOUNTAIN. I, Olaf Modeen remember this place well. Many the
fights have I fought here. The celebrations, the disappointments... What's with
LOZEN? She actually beat JADE MOUNTAIN's TALK-TO-DEATH, and walked away with 17 more
points from the fight. Laughs were big at LADY WARRIORS while they watched GRACE
O'MALLEY clobber FALLING MOUNTAIN. He lost 7 points and got bruised from objects
thrown from the stands. HUNTER was reminded on the sands why THE OVEN BIRD is
Duelmaster. I suppose you want to hear some rumors and dirty gossip about your
fellow fighters? Tough!
Speaking of cowardly avoiders and unfair challenges... The most avoided team
was DEFROSTED. Management must be dealin', as the boys at LADY WARRIORS ain't
reelin'! DEFROSTED's mad! What do people see in BLACK FRIDAY? His 8-12-0? SAND
DANCERS ain't talkin', but he's got 36 points. I hate going to the effort of writing
about the kind of fights that ZENOBIA gets in. She fights people like BLACK FRIDAY,
10 points below. I thought ZENOBIA showed great skill and promise when she subdued
BLACK FRIDAY. All right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
A fighter's lot is filled with strife, revenge, and killing. Some fighters
don't accept this. The best do. Many a warrior has met his fate in a hungover
stupor. You young rapscallions, take note!
