Notes from the arena champ.
A win is a win is a win. With luck, this next round will see the Isle come a-knockin.
I sure would appreciate that, because I am flummoxed as to what the heck I should be
doing and with what. Cause I done tried dang near everything and nothing much works
very well.
Of course, it's been good enough to go toe to toe with Hunter. But that Hound, my
word. I still have nightmares.
Anyway, Hunter has a spiffy new rating, dontcha know, and I wonder if it will give him
that extra what fer to knock me off the throne. That said, it looks like he has not
been spending enough time in the workout shed. So I have some hopes that I might be
able to fend him off again.
This goes hand in hand with the hope that no one from Criticals comes back at the last
minute. It would be interesting, and not in a good way, if it were Clever Stab, but
prolly a terrible outcome for me to take on the recent Adepts TC. Demonic Fury might
also be interesting, as a fellow Waster, but looks like he TV'd some tourney or
nother, and that's beyond me!
Anywho, hopefully this round will bring certainty on all fronts.

Well, what are you looking at, JADE MOUNTAIN? Ain't you never seen Snide
Clemens before? Ah, shaddup and listen to my news. Of course, we're all terribly
impressed to see BOUDICCA win a fight and gain 11 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, LOTUS
BLOSSOM beat ZENOBIA and ZENOBIA lost 6 points. You're breakin' my heart. Due to
absence, and inability to defend the throne, THE OVEN BIRD has lost the Title of
Duelmaster. Start setting that alarm earlier! And it's out with the old, in with
the new, as HUNTER takes the Title and last week's bar tab from the old Duelmaster.
Heh, heh. Kickbacks and bribes, kickbacks and bribes, how else do you think some of
these guys win their fights? Skill? Ha!
He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day, the coward. What's
the big D? DEFROSTED was the most avoided team? Bunch of lily livered... grumble...
mumble... curse... And who led the way in this mass act of cowardice? Let's see,
well, whatcha know? It was LADY WARRIORS. Ha ha ha ha! Ooh, I'm frightfully
impressed, HO CHANG was this turn's most challenged warrior. Watch that ego swell,
sports fans.
Ah, now we come to my favorite part, where we see all the guys who are dead and
gone, and get to see if their team cared. We're all going to die in the end, so why
worry if the fate catches up with you sooner that later?
