DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
Greetings, Lin Tirian! I am honored to remain your Duelmaster. Since variety is the
spice of life and Yensi was nice enough to fight me twice, I've decided to offer my
TV challenge to Gutterball. He's the highest ranked challenger champion and it seems
only fair. Good luck to all and may the blood on your sword not be mine. -- Jon Snow
SPY REPORT
Ready for some action-packed adventure, some thrills, chills and spills? Well
fergit it, cause this is the Spyreport for LIN TIRIAN. Like, DARK TOADS had to be so
embarrassed when they got kicked off #1 spot by TREE PEOPLE! Way to go TREE PEOPLE!
MVP award for MAD LODEN? SAND DANCERS' proud of him after beating WILLIOW and
getting 24 points. Talk about yer big time losers! WILLIOW got smashed by MAD
LODEN, and lost 19 points! Like PBA's GUTTERBALL is sweating since she got TV
challenged by Duelmaster JON SNOW! Don't you think the Duelmaster is being unfair?
I think JON SNOW should let GUTTERBALL be Duelmaster for a while, without fighting
about it. I hear the top team insists all their warriors get nine hours sleep. They
want photogenic fighters for PR photos.
I gotta admit I haven't been in "deep con caves" with any spies. Really, I just
wing this stuff. The warriors of TREE PEOPLE must be getting lonely. They were the
most avoided team. Do you guys know something that I don't? I don't know what DARK
TOADS' been doing. They certainly haven't been accepting many fights from TREE
PEOPLE, that's fer sher. Can PBA's GUTTERBALL be more popular than me? She was
challenged the most, but is that really the same?
Man, all these warriors dying and killing each other! Don't you guys ever give
it a break? Fight, fight, fight. Is that all you guys can do?
Remember, blood on a purple robe may stain. Soak it in cold water, and hand
wash. I'm getting tired of writing this stuff, so I'm calling it quits. Remember
you guys, ease up sometimes! Chill out! Later, Debby Tonte

Jorja -- There is nothing wrong with being an Orc. Yensi should know that. It's
almost as good as being a Toad or a Duck. -- TigToad
P.S. Well, maybe not almost as good...but still good.
Elderberry -- I understand...Jon's still not a fan of lungers though. -- TigToad
Jon Snow -- You're biased against Orcs. I can tell. And you're biased against
people with simple, straightforward fighting styles. You're nothing but a FINESSER
(sneer). -- Yensi Twofinger, never one for tact
Boxwood -- You boxed my ears good! -- Wallis
P.S. And other parts of me, too. Ouch!
Willow -- It's some kind of PLOT, isn't it? You're out to make me look bad. You
probably put that fan up to insulting me at the end of the fight, it was probably
your baby brother, wasn't it? I'll GET you for this. -- Mad Loden
Gutterball -- I don't know, isn't that rather LOW? -- Irla
Jon Snow -- Congratulations on your tourney performance, and cheers for your solid
Duelmaster's column. Few will take the time to speak at length. We salute you. --
Jorja, Sand Dancers
P.S. At least, those of us who are sane today salute you.
TigToad -- That'll do it. As you sow, so do you reap. -- Jorja
P.S. In encouragement of your efforts on this team, I will note that I just
graduated a ripper from Tricorus, generally a tough sort of place. 9-13-5-15-17-8-17
SH low/mod, cursed with little damage. Amazing things are possible with this tricky
and rewarding style.

To All -- Fellow managers, I humbly request your help. My team (Ex Oblivione) was
started in Monuntial (DM 34) back in '92. They were active for seven months. I have
lost all early traces of them. If any of you can help with copies of relevant
newsletters or, if you fought one of my warriors, copies of the fights, I would
greatly appreciate it. I only have one of my original warriors left from the early
team now active in DM 60. You can diplo me with any info here in the wonderful city
of Aradi. Thank you in advance. -- Enigma, manager Ex Oblivione

Assurnasirbanipal invites all to use his computerized warrior management tool. The
program is the most extensive management tool ever created. It was meant to run on a
PALM OS PDA, but will run (emulated) on a PC or MAC. You can get this program on the
web at: http://www.geocities.com/assurnasir

A note to everyone regarding manager names and manager lists -- If you're running a
team incognito, all you have to do is let me know and I won't put your name on any
manager lists. It has seemed though, that more people want their names listed, even
if they do not announce themselves, than the other way around. Also, I do maintain
the list more or less by hand and errors do creep in. You have but to say I've made
an error and no one will be the wiser (except thee and me, of course). -- The Saint,
keeper of lists
