SPY REPORT
Much has changed in SHADOWSPIRE since last I was here. Never fear, Olaf Modeen
adapts to many situations, as do all successful fighters. Woof! THE MONGOLOIDS II
were a bunch of dogs after KELLUMBO'S KIDS got through with 'em! 3rd ain't so sweet
as 1st! Looking for a good fight, confident, skilled, tough opponents. Well don't
look at WARMASTERS, cause they dropped by 18. It seems so recently people were
saying UNHOLY KNIGHTS was washed up, finished. But 4-1-0 moved them up 6. I guess
they're washed no more... What's with '08 CHALLENGER? He actually beat BIG LAKE
OUTCASTS' SYE THE BEARDED, and walked away with 23 more points from the fight.
Laughs were big at AMERICAN MUSCLE while they watched '08 CHALLENGER clobber SYE THE
BEARDED. He lost 22 points and got bruised from objects thrown from the stands.
WARMASTERS' hatred of HOUSE OF HEARTS surfaced again as BRUTUS challenged
SHADOWSPIRE's top dog. BRUTUS was reminded on the sands why BLACK MARIA is
Duelmaster. Advice to fighters with a 1 will--give up fighting!
No matter the time or place, men will always duel. The most avoided team was
KELLUMBO'S KIDS. The bums at AMERICAN MUSCLE couldn't face the challenges from
KELLUMBO'S KIDS! No excuse for that! How well I know the feeling of being the most
challenged warrior, GIGI DIVINE! Don't make idle boasts, they may come back to haunt
you. NIGHTBANE expects the easy win by going 40 points down. PINKY will find this a
hard lesson! NIGHTBANE won victory over PINKY. KELLUMBO'S KIDS calls this fighting?
In my day... Taunt your opponent GRACCHUS! That was my lucky charm when I was
unfairly challenged. (and by 23 points!) DESIREE should have an easy win. I have
to get this off my chest. What a low dog, DESIREE! She can't set herself up in a
real match. I was sorry to see GRACCHUS lose. Fighting is a better craft than
farming, PLASMA CUTTER, but you have to pay your dues. Being challenged by WILHELM,
21 points above you, is dues. WILHELM left the match looking worse than when he went
in, after PLASMA CUTTER, with a 12-11-0, walked all over him. VILE RAT expects the
easy win by going 28 points down. H.P. LOVECRAFT will find this a hard lesson! VILE
RAT defeated H.P. LOVECRAFT. I bet VILE RAT could beat two-year-olds, too. Well,
LITERATE LOONS knows who to set their sights on. Maybe FURRY FURY's KRAZED KOALA is
one of those gals who likes pain, or something. That's what she'll get next week,
after challenging up 26 to '70 CHARGER R/T. KRAZED KOALA did pretty good last week
in beating '70 CHARGER R/T to get 22 points. Why did '70 CHARGER R/T lose, you ask?
Simple: she wasn't good enough. BUGBEAR of MONSTER MANUAL knows how to pick 'em.
He challenged GREGORR of WARMASTERS who is up by 21. Now was this a wise move?
BUGBEAR perhaps got his just desserts, seeing as he overcame GREGORR and ended up
with 33 recognition points.
Warriors of SHADOWSPIRE unite. You have only your games to lose! REMEDIAL
looked pretty sick and surprised when he learned GOONSWARM is sending him to the Dark
Arena! Whadd'he expect with a 6-6-2? Sending a warrior to the Dark Arena reminds
the others they'd better shape up. Tough beans, WAR PIG. That's what a 4-7-0 gets
you. P.G. WODEHOUSE of LITERATE LOONS didn't know when to quit. When you've got a
8-13-1, that's a good sign. Now he's dead. Someone told BILI that LA PENTARCHIE
never Bloodfeuded, that he'd have an easy kill. Well, I'm sure whoever misled you is
right sorry. Is it my imagination, or are fighters getting younger every day? To
die so young, so gloriously!
Who knows what the future holds for a warrior. More fights, there's no doubt.
