DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
Well, it seems I'm becoming something of a minor celebrity in this town! It
seems not too common an occurrence to repeat as duelmaster. The last one was Bili on
turn 79-80. I wonder how long it's been since a three-peat? Not that I'm getting
ahead of myself, now. There is a lot of still competition at the top of the 'spire.
Being a repeat champ, I guess I owe you a little knowledge about myself. I'll say
that I have 55 learned skills, and at least one master rating. That ought to keep
the tabloids happy for another turn! If I'm still here next week, I'll relate
another tidbit.
Now, as to the challenge last week from Liberius. Dude, I don't know what to
tell you. That's how most of my fights go. Sometimes I gotta hit 'em a second time,
just to be sure. I'm curious, did you have any intel on me, or was it just a
striker-vs-lunger style challenge? Whatever the case, I'm always happy to humor the
old folks and maybe learn a couple skills off of 'em.
Well, I'd better get this posted pretty soon. Don't remember who I challenged,
but I'm sure it'll be a good fight! Happy duelling!

SPY REPORT
I was going on vacation, see? Surf, sun... But what do those bums say? "Hit
the road, Debby Tonte. SHADOWSPIRE needs a spyreport." Oh, well. Like, WARMASTERS
had to be so embarrassed when they got kicked off #1 spot by CLAN LONGBEARD! Way to
go CLAN LONGBEARD! I couldn't believe it. Did CLAN LONGBEARD really go up by 13?
If only those guys didn't have so may missing teeth... Gross! One team deserves
special mention 'cause they moved up 7 after going 4-1-0. Keep it up, SUMMERBORN!
MVP award for BOOK MARK? CAPITAL CARTEL's proud of him after beating HUGH CAPET and
getting 26 points. Talk about yer big time losers! HUGH CAPET got smashed by BOOK
MARK, and lost 25 points! TITUS thinks his 16-11-3 and studly character is good
enough to face up to the Duelmaster. Any bets? Don't you think the Duelmaster is
being unfair? I think CHILI SURPRISE should let TITUS be Duelmaster for a while,
without fighting about it. Is the Duelmaster really being a real snob to his
teammates? Don't ask me!
AAARRGH!!! I HATE SPYREPORTING!!! Sorry. I just had to say it. The warriors
of SUPERIOR FORCES NT must be getting lonely. They were the most avoided team. Do
you guys know something that I don't? Hhmph! What kind of warriors are UNHOLY
KNIGHTS? SUPERIOR FORCES NT, an easy team to beat if I ever saw one, can't get them
to accept an invitation! Like, is SERAFIN GAWAIN popular, or what? She was
challenged the most in all of SHADOWSPIRE! She's got a 11-12-0, is that good? For
sure, I was holding my breath when I found out DUCHESS OF ERAT challenged LIBERIUS.
After all, haven't UNHOLY KNIGHTS and WARMASTERS had a long standing duel in
SHADOWSPIRE? It wasn't a spectacular fight, or anything, but LIBERIUS wants me to
write about it since he bested DUCHESS OF ERAT. Satisfied?
Man, all these warriors dying and killing each other! Don't you guys ever give
it a break? How cruel! SUMMERBORN heartlessly sent its to HEATWAVE certain fate in
the Dark Arena. Is a 7-6-0 bad or something? It was kind of sad, seeing old SHY
SKUNK stumbling around the arena, before FIMNAR finished him off. Oh well! What if
they had a fight and nobody showed up? I'd be out of a job, that's what!!!
I really didn't, you know, study when I was a kid. Who would've guessed I'd be
a famous Spyreporter? I know how much you like reading this stuff, but I really
