                              Lifting the Veil, Part 1

He closed his eyes, concentrating on everything and nothing. "What mindless
drivel," he mumbled to himself, "everything and nothing." His brow creased as his
thoughts became internal, almost dreamlike. The difficulty with meditation is
getting started he thought. Meditation, as other disciplines, required practice and
a commitment to the form. He desired neither practice nor commitment to the art, but
such were the rigors of a wizard. His mind began to drift to his days as a novice,
under the tutelage of "masters" he despised....

"FOCUS!" an internal voice shouted. He re-centered himself and concentrated
once again. His mind drifted into the ether of other worlds. A mist circled about
him like ivy climbing a garden trellis. He embraced the mist as it filled every
corner of his mind. His former teachers taught him to visualize the misty barriers
as veils to be moved. One even had him picture a tender rose bud in need of nurture
and care before opening up its beautiful gift to him. "Bah," he mumbled again.
Meditation never came easy to him. By nature, he thrived in chaos. He had been
bred in the depths of chaos by a union of opposing forces that should never have met;
his mother a demon queen and his father a human spellsword. In his mind, there was
no place for silky veils or rosebuds. He envisioned an icy barrier before him. A
mirror-like finish was upon the barrier and he saw the features of his face clearly
upon its surface.
His ashen complexion blended with the whiteness of the icy wall. The points of
his ears were visible to him, but would be overlooked if anyone else were privy to
the scene. His pallid face enhanced his dark eyes and glossy black teeth. He smiled
briefly, showing elongated canines, and ran a forked-tongue across them from left to
right. His hairless brow furrowed as he concentrated on the barrier.
The ice barrier shimmered, distorting his lucid reflection for the briefest
moment. It returned to its mirror finish once again. He refocused his mind upon the
barricade and as before the barrier shimmered. The ripple was only momentary. The
wizard snorted at the reluctant barrier and redoubled his efforts. It was no use.
The barrier shimmered over and over again, but it did not surrender to the will of
the sorcerer.
The smell of sulfur caused him to sniff the air. Typically his meditations were
visual and auditory, he could remember no occasion when his olfactory sense was
relevant. "Temper, temper," he mumbled. He was generating the sulfuric odor in his
meditation chamber. It was a physiological response when he became agitated, most
notably when he was angry. He could easily will himself not to have the reaction,
but it served as a non-verbal cue to his associates. It also put people on edge,
which he truly enjoyed.
He brought his attention back to the barrier. The sulfur gave him an idea.
Instead of concentrating upon the barrier, he began to imagine an intense ball of
flame before him. It started small, little more than a match lights intensity. It
pulsated and grew drawing the heat from the air around it. Now the size of an apple,
he willed it forward into the barrier. As it drew close, the ice began to drip,
slowly at first. He pushed the fiery orb closer and heavy dripping filled his ears
as the heat did its work upon the blockade. "Rosebud, bah!" he whispered in a
congratulatory tone to himself.
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! It sounded as a light rapping upon a door. Was some
astral being trying to contact him from within the mist? THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! It
sounded again. Was the denizen on the other side of the icy wall he wondered?
Though only crude thumping, it sounded almost rhythmic. Surely, this creature
seeking to communicate him was intelligent. THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! There it is
again, he thought. THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! It was coming more rapidly now. THUMP!
THUMP! THUMP!
Darque opened a single eye, his concentration shattered and he heard it once
more. THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! He opened his other eye and blinked for clarity. The
blackened orbs glistened in the flickering candle light of his meditation chamber as
his vision adjusted to the real world. Once his eyes were comfortable in the soft
light, an upturned palm caused the flames to burn more intensely, illuminating the
whole room in a new light.
The half-demon willed himself to the floor. He had been afloat in the midst of
his protective circle. Many who meditated and explored the various realms did so
without a protective ward. Darque thought such actions foolish. As a denizen of the
Abyss, Darque knew there were forces at work in Alastari and the various planes that
were not to be trifled with in the least. Whoever was rapping upon his chamber door
was soon to learn that lesson.
He waved his hand and the steel door creaked open slowly. On the other side was
a wizened old man in green robes. A quill, magical from the dweomer surrounding it,
was in his left hand and a leather tome in his right. The aura enveloped the quill
from sharp, bony tip to its soft, feathery end. The sorcerer remembered when he had
plucked the plume, and many others, from the corpse of a giant feathered serpent.
The expedition had cost him the lives of six mercenaries and two apprentices. Darque
deemed the mission a success.
The elder gentleman was flanked by two dwarves. He stammered in his speech,
"Master, I..."
Darque cut him off before he could finish. "Leviticus! This better be
important!" the wizard snapped. He did not raise his voice, but assumed his terse
warning would be enough. Darque already knew it was important. The steward had been
with him for decades and he did not disturb the wizard for trivial matters. The twin
dwarves at his flank also spoke volumes about the situation, and it was indeed
serious.
The aged steward gave slight bow, "Master, you know I would not disturb you
otherwise." He fumbled for a moment, giving careful thought to his next words.
"Sir, we have, um... We have..." he paused once again.
One of the dwarves grunted and then stepped to the front of the pack facing
Darque. In the process, he shoved Leviticus back. The steward scowled at the pushy
dwarf, but stepped back to give Sidon a wide berth. Though offended by the brutish
behavior, Leviticus said nothing. He would address the dwarfs lack of manners when
the current crisis was over.
"There are some Commission lackeys waiting for you in the foyer. We have no
idea what they want." Sidon was never one to mince words and thought the direct
approach was always best. If direct wasnt an option, there was always a battle axe.
Darques mind began to think upon the multitude of reasons anyone from the
Commission would bother to come and see him. There were many reasons and none of
them good. He jumped from one event to the next, playing through all the excuses and
alibis he would need. Realistically, he would need more time to ponder these events
through to their conclusion. The wizard looked around Sidon to Leviticus, "Put them
in parlor. I will call for them in an hour or so."
Leviticus gave a quick bow and hurried to the foyer where the Commission agents
were waiting.

                             Notes from the arena champ.

Good afternoon, Shadowspire! <Giggle>

Well, here I am again! I'd like to thank Glabrio for hosting my throne-ship the
last 2 turns. I hope to he makes it the trifecta after this turn. DeGotti keeps
saying that I need to train my wit, but for some reason it's just not improving.
Maybe I should try some tougher books and math problems? Naaah, I might chip my
beautiful nails on harder books! <Giggle>.
In all seriousness, DeGotti thinks I have a shot of staying on the throne here
in Shadowspire for a new consecutive turns record! He mentioned that I might be
forced to graduate at the 50fe mark which if I can stay up here the entire time would
mean 8 consecutive turns, I think! <Giggle> Not too shabby for a former dancer!
I would like to thank all of my fans! I know the newsletter keeps saying I'm
one of the least popular fighters, but all the gifts I receive after each fight would
seem to point, that I am in fact rather popular with at least the male population of
Shadowspire! <Giggle> I have had many offers to endorse local products and shops
here and I think I will start by wearing my previous employer's logo on my medium
shield. So this weeks title fight is brought to you by Double Dee's, Men's club and
lounge!
I would personally like to welcome the new teams that started fighting last
turn! I don't know who that Squid guy is but I hope he doesn't smell the stands up!

That's all for now. C'ya all next turn!

                                      SPY REPORT

Okay, what've we got? Debby took these notes, a nice kid, but not much of a
scholar. So... hmm.
Monster Manual went 2-3-0. I presume this indicates a drop in the ranks.
Otto's Diner went up from 14th place to 8th place. Good work.
     Summerborn went 4-1-0. Very good!
Furry Fury was most avoided. Warmasters avoided them the most.
Looks like the handicapper won his bet, he claimed he could keep Furry Fury and
Warmasters apart this time. The avoiding will have helped. Of course, Jaime Rinvar,
the Arenamaster, is claiming that fights in the alley behind the arena count right
along with arena fights....
Forty-six fights, twenty-eight challenges (four to the Dark Arena, two
bloodfeuds), and three standbys.

The Dark Arena action:
STORMY (81-1892) (5-6-1,22) of BRIDGE BURNERS DA challenged SHEWISH GIANT (81-
21) (0-0-0,55) of DARK ARENA. STORMY was butchered by SHEWISH GIANT in a crowd
pleasing 1 minute Dark Arena fight.
2ND NULL ZONE (81-1897) (0-1-0,1) of SEARCH THE SKY DA challenged BANDIT PRINCE
(81-25) (0-0-0,60) of DARK ARENA. 2ND NULL ZONE was murdered by BANDIT PRINCE in a 1
minute brutal Dark Arena melee. Murder? Got to wonder about that one!
SINK GUNK (81-1908) (0-0-0,0) of OTTO'S DINER DA challenged DARK CHAMPION (81-
24) (0-0-0,60) of DARK ARENA. SINK GUNK was assassinated by DARK CHAMPION in a 1
minute Dark Arena duel.
COVER ART (81-1902) (0-0-0,0) of MONSTER MANUAL DA challenged BANDIT PRINCE (81-
25) (0-0-0,60) of DARK ARENA. COVER ART was butchered by BANDIT PRINCE in a 1 minute
Dark Arena contest.

The random matches, moving quickly (I've been advised to "save my energy for turn
150"):
VERITY (81-1907) (0-0-0,0) of FARSEERS fought TULLIUS (81-1909) (0-0-0,0) of
WARMASTERS. VERITY savagely defeated TULLIUS in a crowd pleasing 1 minute gruesome
novice's fray. That's the way it goes, somebody wins, somebody loses. No ties.
MISHAP (81-1906) (0-0-0,0) of FARSEERS fought KENAI (81-1901) (0-0-0,0) of
DRAGONBANE GUILD. MISHAP was narrowly defeated by KENAI in a 3 minute gory
beginner's fight.
REGAL (81-1904) (0-0-0,0) of FARSEERS fought MORDANT DESERTER (81-2) (0-0-0,5)
of More Imported Standbys. REGAL subdued MORDANT DESERTER in a 1 minute novice's
match. That's 2-2 for the Farseers, where's the fifth guy? I'll have to watch for
him.
TOM BADGERLOCK (81-1903) (0-0-0,0) of FARSEERS fought CICADA SONG (81-1911) (0-
0-0,0) of SUMMERBORN. TOM BADGERLOCK was handily defeated by CICADA SONG in a 1
minute mismatched melee.

COMET BOY (81-1899) (1-0-0,15) of SEARCH THE SKY fought GALEN (81-1905) (0-0-
0,0) of FARSEERS. COMET BOY overpowered GALEN in a 1 minute one-sided brawl. Here
we go, 2-3. Not bad for a new team in a really tough arena.
GRAVITY VORTEX (81-1895) (0-1-0,1) of SEARCH THE SKY fought JUSTINIUS (81-1910)
(0-0-0,0) of WARMASTERS. GRAVITY VORTEX was demolished by JUSTINIUS in a 2 minute

in a 1 minute one-sided fight. And no wonder, those were very STRONG onions.

     TURDUCKEN (81-1784) (8-12-0,42) of OTTO'S DINER fought EDNA MILLAY (81-1834) (7-
6-0,27) of LITERATE LOONS. TURDUCKEN handily defeated EDNA MILLAY in an action
packed 1 minute mismatched match.
IRWEHN (81-1785) (10-10-0,43) of CLAN LONGBEARD fought TRUTTS (81-1889) (6-5-
0,45) of BRIDGE BURNERS. IRWEHN was overpowered by TRUTTS in a 1 minute one-sided
duel.
REDDIG (81-1838) (9-3-0,46) of CLAN LONGBEARD fought TOSSED SALAD (81-1686) (6-
21-0,39) of FOOD. REDDIG subdued TOSSED SALAD in a popular 1 minute duel. Tossed
the salad all over the place and made a serious mess.
INGRAT (81-1805) (6-10-0,35) of LA PENTARCHIE fought MIDSUMMER WREATH (81-1793)
(8-5-1,52) of SUMMERBORN. INGRAT was demolished by MIDSUMMER WREATH in a 1 minute
mismatched match.
SORRY (81-1891) (6-5-0,59) of BRIDGE BURNERS fought TROLL HAND (81-1825) (6-6-
1,43) of SAVAGE HORDE. SORRY overpowered TROLL HAND in a 1 minute one-sided fray.

BRUSSEL SPROUTS (81-1688) (13-14-2,73) of FOOD fought FEOHR (81-1737) (13-12-
1,67) of CLAN LONGBEARD. BRUSSEL SPROUTS overpowered FEOHR in an exciting 1 minute
bloody one-sided struggle. No surprise, all those cabbage types are nasty.
SUMNER (81-1624) (12-9-0,85) of THE WILLBURYS II fought MARTILN (81-1742) (15-8-
0,86) of CLAN LONGBEARD. SUMNER savagely defeated MARTILN in a crowd pleasing 2
minute gruesome veteran's fray.
JULIETTE (81-1630) (21-12-0,88) of SUMMERBORN fought ZADIE SMITH (81-1701) (15-
13-0,58) of LITERATE LOONS. JULIETTE overpowered ZADIE SMITH in an exciting 1 minute
one-sided fight. Juliette, by the way, is our top-ranked lunger.
TAMERLANE (81-1764) (12-10-1,96) of DARQUE AGES fought VENEMOUS CONCUBINE (81-
15) (0-0-0,80) of More Imported Standbys. TAMERLANE overpowered VENEMOUS CONCUBINE
in a 1 minute one-sided match. A dirty job, but someone had to do it.
JAKLAK (81-1430) (26-22-0,100) of CLAN LONGBEARD fought JOSEPH MITCHELL (81-
1746) (10-14-1,73) of LITERATE LOONS. JAKLAK defeated JOSEPH MITCHELL in an action
packed 5 minute expert's fight. Joseph is the most popular warrior this turn.

The challenges!
1ST NULL ZONE (81-1896) (0-1-0,1) of SEARCH THE SKY challenged SCIPIO (81-1900)
(0-1-0,1) of WARMASTERS. Straight across. 1ST NULL ZONE was overpowered by SCIPIO
in a 1 minute uneven Challenge competition. Not null enough, I guess.
SUMMER BAY SHOT (81-1884) (0-1-0,1) of SUMMERBORN challenged WORD THIEF (81-
1849) (3-4-0,23) of CULT OF BACCHUS. Up an insane 22. SUMMER BAY SHOT was handily
defeated by WORD THIEF in a 1 minute Challenge bout. Anyone surprised?
RATHELM (81-1893) (1-1-0,7) of SAVAGE HORDE challenged AL ZHEIMER (81-1886) (2-
0-0,23) of LA PENTARCHIE. Up 16. RATHELM was vanquished by AL ZHEIMER in a 1 minute
uneven Challenge bout. They say that Al will get us all in the end, but don't you
believe it! They'll say anything.

LONGFANGS (81-1881) (2-1-0,7) of SAVAGE HORDE challenged CAEDMON (81-1873) (2-3-
0,9) of DARQUE AGES. Up 2. LONGFANGS was defeated by CAEDMON in a 2 minute
Challenge match.
HITTIUS (81-1880) (1-1-0,6) of CULT OF BACCHUS challenged KAMAL KHAN (81-1883)
(2-1-0,21) of BOND-AGE. Up 15. HITTIUS was overpowered by KAMAL KHAN in a 1 minute
one-sided Challenge duel.
REAVER (81-1879) (2-2-0,8) of SAVAGE HORDE challenged BLUE NOVA (81-1898) (1-0-
0,22) of SEARCH THE SKY. Up 14. REAVER overpowered BLUE NOVA in a 1 minute one-
sided Challenge duel. Or, in Debby's words: "BLUE NOVA got smashed by REAVER, and
lost 17 points!" This is probably the biggest drop in the rankings.
BAD BORSCHT (81-1894) (1-1-0,7) of OTTO'S DINER challenged EURYMEDON (81-1865)
(4-2-0,18) of LA PENTARCHIE. Up 11. BAD BORSCHT butchered EURYMEDON in a 1 minute
gory one-sided Challenge bout. Ah... really bad borscht, I guess. Bad got the
biggest rise in the rankings for this, 22 points.

SYFTAR TRAFF (81-1876) (2-2-0,22) of DRAGONBANE GUILD challenged ORTING (81-
1815) (7-5-0,27) of THE WILLBURYS II. Up 5. SYFTAR TRAFF handily defeated ORTING in
a 1 minute uneven Challenge duel. And we KNOW that there were no hidden tourney
fights involved here.
CAT N TONIC (81-1870) (1-3-0,13) of FURRY FURY challenged SKULLCLEAVER (81-1877)
(2-2-0,20) of SAVAGE HORDE. Up 7. CAT N TONIC vanquished SKULLCLEAVER in a 1 minute
one-sided Challenge match. No cleaving the cat.
THE DRONE (81-1862) (4-3-1,22) of LA PENTARCHIE challenged STORM GIANT (81-1819)
(7-7-0,28) of MONSTER MANUAL. Up 6. THE DRONE viciously subdued STORM GIANT in a 2
minute gory Challenge bout. Too bad, we could've used a storm.
HONEY BEE (81-1860) (3-3-1,51) of FURRY FURY challenged PASTA ALL DENTY (81-
1837) (6-6-0,55) of OTTO'S DINER. Up 4. HONEY BEE defeated PASTA ALL DENTY in a
crowd pleasing 1 minute Challenge conflict. Bee-stung pasta? The mind boggles.
LADY GODIVA (81-1782) (13-7-0,50) of DARQUE AGES challenged RENTON (81-1623)
(10-11-1,66) of THE WILLBURYS II. Up 16. LADY GODIVA subdued RENTON in an exciting
4 minute veteran's Challenge bout. Huh, I thought Lady Godiva was chocolates.

FAILED DOG TRICK (81-1798) (7-9-0,38) of FURRY FURY challenged KALAM (81-1888)
(6-1-1,41) of BRIDGE BURNERS. Up 3. FAILED DOG TRICK devastated KALAM in a 1 minute
brutal one-sided Challenge brawl. No failure here.
THE BLACK PRINCE (81-1841) (6-5-0,36) of DARQUE AGES challenged HARE BINGER (81-
1790) (10-8-1,60) of FURRY FURY. Up 24. THE BLACK PRINCE overcame HARE BINGER in a
2 minute bloody Challenge bout. Chase a wild hare and catch it.
     AGORIX (81-1842) (7-4-2,43) of WARMASTERS challenged HOMONCULOUS (81-1851) (6-2-
0,51) of MONSTER MANUAL. Up 8. AGORIX was vanquished by HOMONCULOUS in a 1 minute
gruesome mismatched Challenge bout. Oddly, Agorix, the challenger, was most
challenged today.
LITTLE DARLING (81-1700) (15-13-0,87) of SUMMERBORN challenged BALTAIRE (81-833)
(14-13-0,105) of CULT OF BACCHUS. Up 18. LITTLE DARLING beat BALTAIRE in a popular
1 minute master's Challenge conflict. Little Darling is the steeliest wall, but
Baltaire is the overall popularity leader. Something for everyone.
CLERLEON (81-1796) (11-7-1,71) of LA PENTARCHIE challenged DROW (81-1774) (13-9-
0,83) of MONSTER MANUAL. Up 12. CLERLEON demolished DROW in a 1 minute mismatched
Challenge match. Drow is Mr. Accuracy, aka the high-ranked aimed blow.

JULIAN OF NORWICH (81-1783) (10-10-1,68) of DARQUE AGES challenged ROSA KLEBB
(81-1765) (13-8-0,124) of BOND-AGE. Up lots. Looks like 56? Around there. Crazy,
but some people WILL do it. JULIAN OF NORWICH was demolished by ROSA KLEBB in a 1
minute Challenge match. Rosa is the leading p-striker.
MEDA (81-854) (18-7-0,101) of CULT OF BACCHUS challenged FISH TACO (81-1687)
(17-10-1,121) of FOOD. Up 20. MEDA handily defeated FISH TACO in a 1 minute one-
sided Challenge bout. Yuck. Fish tacos do not work for me. Meda is the high-ranged
striker.
     NICK NACK (81-1750) (11-11-2,92) of BOND-AGE challenged CAZADOR (81-1578) (20-
16-0,76) of DRAGONBANE GUILD. Down 16. NICK NACK was viciously subdued by CAZADOR
in a 10 minute veteran's Challenge duel.
     ODDJOB (81-1766) (13-8-0,123) of BOND-AGE challenged KNUT SUNDERHELM (81-1569)
(16-21-3,78) of DRAGONBANE GUILD. Down 45. ODDJOB viciously subdued KNUT SUNDERHELM
in a 1 minute expert's Challenge duel. Are we looking at a feud here? Oddjob, by
the way, is the master slasher here today.
     KRONSTEEN (81-1748) (14-8-0,92) of BOND-AGE challenged GREMLIN STEW (81-1710)
(21-6-0,104) of OTTO'S DINER. Up 12. KRONSTEEN was luckily beaten by GREMLIN STEW
in a 5 minute master's Challenge brawl. Kronsteen is the top basher.

The bloodfeuds:
IRONHEAD (81-1722) (18-8-0,69) of DRAGONBANE GUILD bloodfeuded PURPLE WORM (81-
1775) (11-11-1,64) of MONSTER MANUAL. Down 5. IRONHEAD was viciously subdued by
PURPLE WORM in a 3 minute veteran's Bloodfeud duel.

And for the title:
GIGI DIVINE (81-613) (31-15-1,114) of CULT OF BACCHUS bloodfeuded GLABRIO (81-
1800) (8-9-1,56) of WARMASTERS. Down 58. GIGI DIVINE luckily beat GLABRIO in a 13
minute one-sided Bloodfeud Title fight. Good work on Glabrio's part drawing it out
that long. Gigi is our most impervious total parry, and the least popular fighter
today.

Nicely done, Cult of Bacchus... climbing to the top? -- LP

Let's build a temple for Gigi... we need gods! -- LP

If you Search for Sky, just make offers to Gigi!

Well, Reaver, I don't remember anything either... -- Al Zheimer

All --It has come to be time for a new stable to be built here. So I, the Catalyst,
have rounded up five new warriors to fill its halls. This is my next step in my
career as a manager and I hope to add to my knowlege base here. Please know I am
fairly new and would welcome any input form those who wish to share. May we enjoy
our encounters! -- The Catalyst, mgr Farseers

All -- We've arrived!! No the most auspicious start (2-3-0) but it's much better
than a total shutout, right? I've got Burners, Bums, and one half-mad Genius. Let's
see how this pans out. -- Kid Arcane

Al Zheimer -- Wow! You hit hard! Maybe next time I'll get a chance to hit back. I
like the idea of watching you hit the ground instead of me. -- Gravity Vortex

Bad Borscht -- First, is there such a thing as GOOD borscht?? Second, let's face it,
you got lucky. Keep your napkin tucked in, Buddy. You're going to need it real
soon. -- 1st Null Zone

Yes, there is good borscht. But everything has to be very fresh.

Longfangs -- You have some moves; I'll give you that. I've got skills. See the
Difference? -- Blue Nova

Persistant Beggar -- Please start using something besides a shortsword! It's
difficult to access my abilities when I'm matched with a Noob like you! -- Comet Boy

I'm not ALLOWED to get a better weapon. I'm not ALLOWED to IMPROVE! You think
YOU have it tough! -- P. Beggar

Bridge Burners -- Stop handing out humble pie to the arena, and lollipops to yer
warriors. Try Hawk's "...increased workout program designed to improve
endurance...." Oh yeah... That, and a war flail, are more likely to get the results
yer looking for. Oh, and-- Welcome to Shadowspire!! -- Havoc

Vanek -- I sincerely doubt that your hard-copy ranting , versus your on-line ranting,
is strictly for my benefit. In any case, it's not 'entertaining' anymore. Keep
managing your team your way; who cares what anyone else thinks? They don't pay the
fees. I respectfully urge you to drop this Grimm-bashing. It's starting to leave a
bad taste in my mouth. -- Kid Arcane

Grimm -- Maintenance? In Shadowspire? Really?? This is not a 'farm team' arena,
buddy. You should know that. C'mon! Suck it up, get back in the game, and kick
ass!! That's more satisfying to EVERYONE. This back and forth arguing is annoying,
and pointless. You're a good enough manager to make your point on the sands. So DO
it already!! -- Kid Arcane

Nice spotlight--was that Managerr who wrote it? Well-written and entertaining. --
Kid Arcane

Blue Nova -- Ouch, I think I chipped a tooth. Welcome to Shadowspire! -- Longfangs

Kamal Khan -- You are much quicker than I expected. I hope I fought someone slower
this turn. -- Da Rathelm

Eurymedon -- I can neither pronounce your name nor pierce your defenses. Both are
too much for me! -- Reaver

Storm Giant -- That could have gone either way. Thanks for my best skill learn ever!
-- Trollhand

Vanek -- 1-14 in the last 3 turns AND the Editor laying down the law with you? All I
can say is, ouch! -- DeGotti

Jaklak -- That was a fun fight! It could have gone either way! You sure can take
some damage! -- Baltaire

The Black Prince -- Don't you know you are supposed to stay on the ground after you
get knocked to it? -- Word Thief

Scipio -- You might want to work a bit on your con some, too! -- Hittius

LP -- Thank you for your support of Gigi! We hope you had fun filled holiday and you
will continue to be vocal here in Shadowspire! -- DeGotti
