Notes from the arena champ.
Gooooooood Evening, Shadowspire, <Giggle>
Well, this is a happy and sad column for me. As you all know I got my
graduation papers as expected on turn #150, so YAY for my graduation and sad because
I'm no longer able to Duelmistress of Shadowspire. Clerleon, you were the unlucky
random matchup! So strange that not 1 challenge went through last turn! Oh well! I
still won!
I heard DeGotti's throwing me a going away fiesta, but I'm not really sure where
I'm going or if I will keep on fighting! I heard him talking about some ADM arena
called Storm Rock? That doesn't sound like a good spot to keep up my tan! He told
me I really like the short sword and that a low offensive effort and moderate
activity level are the rhythms that help me win! Shaaah! I knew that all along! I
mean, I really don't like to hit people but I do like to keep my heart rate up to
keep the pounds off!

SPY REPORT
Ready for some action-packed adventure, some thrills, chills and spills? Well
fergit it, cause this is the Spyreport for SHADOWSPIRE. Like, CULT OF BACCHUS had to
be so embarrassed when they got kicked off #1 spot by BOND-AGE! Way to go BOND-AGE!
SEARCH THE SKY had like a really albendranius week! Those hunks got a 5-0-0 and
wound up as 4th team! MVP award for HOMONCULOUS? MONSTER MANUAL's proud of him
after beating ZADIE SMITH and getting 26 points. Talk about yer major upsets! ZADIE
SMITH's match with HOMONCULOUS cost her a loss of 18 points! Like FOOD's BRUSSEL
SPROUTS is sweating since he got challenged by Duelmaster GIGI DIVINE! Don't you
think the Duelmaster is being unfair? I think GIGI DIVINE should let BRUSSEL SPROUTS
be Duelmaster for a while, without fighting about it. Who was the wiseguy that said
SHADOWSPIRE's Duelmaster was paying for drinks at The Warty Toad? Don't look at me!
Look, you guys stick to fighting, all right? MONSTER MANUAL was the most
avoided team. Is a 206-262-8 record really that scary? Is there some deep dark
secret why OTTO'S DINER's been avoiding MONSTER MANUAL so much? Or is it just that
they're too scared? Like, is MARTILN popular, or what? He was challenged the most
in all of SHADOWSPIRE! He's got a 18-10-0, is that good? See if I ever talk to MEDA
again! ODDJOB was so low when She challenged she. Hhmph! If MEDA can't beat a
warrior 33 points below herself, that she CHALLENGED, she oughtta be selling food in
the stands! Speaking of challenging 26 points above did you hear about LADY GODIVA
of DARQUE AGES vs. THE WILLBURYS II's SUMNER? (And how was that intro!) LADY GODIVA
lost to SUMNER, but she got 4 points. SUMNER won, and got 5 points. I don't get it.
For sure, I was holding my breath when I found out LITTLE DARLING challenged FISH
TACO. After all, haven't SUMMERBORN and FOOD had a long standing duel in
SHADOWSPIRE? It wasn't a spectacular fight, or anything, but FISH TACO wants me to
write about it since he was subdued by LITTLE DARLING. Satisfied?
Challenges, revenges, Bloodfeuds. All SHADOWSPIRE ever talks about is fighting!
Me, I'm more laid back. Pinch me, I must be dreaming!!! ROSA KLEBB returns from the
Dark Arena, maybe a "little upset" at hers BOND-AGE teammates... Like, who is this
gal??? JULIETTE gets sent to the Dark Arena, battles BLACK ORC, and returns to tell
of it!!! I bet SUMMERBORN manager is surprised! What a bummer deal for VERITY! He
just barely was getting his "fighter feet" but got kill by BAD BORSCHT of OTTO'S
DINER! Those're the breaks, I guess. Like was that some Bloodfeud, or what? (HARE
BINGER vs. GLABRIO, that is.) BLUE NOVA bloodfeuded (is that a word?) SUMMER BAY SHOT
for revenge over some guy's bad fortune. Was it really worth it? What if they had a
fight and nobody showed up? I'd be out of a job, that's what!!!
Remember, blood on a purple robe may stain. Soak it in cold water, and hand
wash. I'm getting tired of writing this stuff, so I'm calling it quits. Remember

That'd probably help. Unlike the previous Editor, I don't do pre-edits, so the
only way I see stuff in advance is when they come to me directly. At which
point there usually isn't time to go beating the bushes for a cleaner copy.

In celebration of Gigi's graduation, we will be holding a grand fiesta at the Cult's
guild house. On Friday we will start with a bull sacrifice at dusk followed by an
exotic spread of food provided by Otto's Diner and alcohol provided by us. Saturday,
will have wine chugging, belly dancing and a limbo contests in the afternoon followed
by a pole dancing competition in the evening. Sunday, the Cult will provide free Ivs
