Notes from the arena champ.
Shadowspire -- I'll keep this short and sweet. Despite the fact that obtaining the
throne is traditionally a time of celebration, the Warmasters instead are mourning
the loss of Nero. As a result, Vanek has placed the responsibility of vengeance upon
my shoulders. It is with much anticipation that I prepare to face Gargantia in not
only a bloodfeud, but defense of the throne. It will be my great pleasure to
separate his head from his shoulders and leave it as a souvenir here in the throne
room next turn. After all, that is the Warmaster philosophy... we don't get mad, we
get even.

SPY REPORT
Oh, hi. Its just little 'ol Debby Tonte. Thought I'd check out SHADOWSPIRE to
see what's new. NBA LEGENDS like really fought hard to move up to 8th from 14th.
Way to go! One team deserves special mention 'cause they moved up 1 after going
4-1-0. Keep it up, DRAGONBANE GUILD! MVP award for AGRIPPA? WARMASTERS' proud of
him after beating DIRTY WHITE MOTHER and getting 22 points. Talk about yer major
upsets! DIRTY WHITE MOTHER's match with AGRIPPA cost him a loss of 19 points! The
Duelmaster isn't going to stop just cause he's Number One! GARGANTIA knows this.
She was Bloodfeuded by the Duelmaster. This Duelmaster is like something else!
THELONIUS stopped GARGANTIA dead in hers tracks! I hear the top team insists all
their warriors get nine hours sleep. They want photogenic fighters for PR photos.
AAARRGH!!! I HATE SPYREPORTING!!! Sorry. I just had to say it. MONSTER
MANUAL was the most avoided team. Is a 354-435-14 record really that scary? Is
there some deep dark secret why LA PENTARCHIE's been avoiding MONSTER MANUAL so much?
Or is it just that they're too scared? Like, is ASTRI popular, or what? She was
challenged the most in all of SHADOWSPIRE! She's got a 8-6-0, is that good? I'm not
so sure DIRE PATIENCE knew all the facts when he challenged HADRIAN of WARMASTERS. I
saw DIRE PATIENCE stumbling and dribbling at The Dripping Blade last week... DIRE
PATIENCE lost to HADRIAN, but he got 10 points. HADRIAN won, and got 7 points. I
don't get it. DAVE LEBEIS is being unfair. It's challenged down 23 against BLUE
DRAGON. I don't know why they let this stuff go on. (I'd better shut up) DAVE
LEBEIS beat BLUE DRAGON. No surprise about that. Really I'm not surprised DAVE
LEBEIS would do such a scummy thing, either. People were asking me did SMOOTH
HOPERATOR REALLY challenge WHISPER? (all right, maybe they didn't, but it sounded
good!) It wasn't a spectacular fight, or anything, but WHISPER wants me to write
about it since she beat SMOOTH HOPERATOR. Satisfied? LOSER DEGOTTI must not be a
good enough fighter to get in fair fights. It challenged ZATHOG. 11 is a big
difference. (Well, that's what they tell me.) I thought LOSER DEGOTTI showed great
skill and promise when it subdued ZATHOG. All right, so I slept through it! Big
deal!
What does a fighter fight for? I mean, the crowds don't give a hoot if someone
gets killed. Not after four more fights. It was kind of sad, seeing old DIRE
PATIENCE stumbling around the arena, before HADRIAN finished him off. Oh well! I
see DIRE PATIENCE got killed by HADRIAN of WARMASTERS. Now I want to see some
serious Bloodfeud action out there! THELONIUS bloodfeuded (is that a word?)
GARGANTIA for revenge over some guy's bad fortune. Was it really worth it? ROCKFORD
really fought hard against SAILOR JEFFRY. That'll teach INEBRIATION not to go and
kill any of THE COMMODORES' guys again, huh! What if they had a fight and nobody
showed up? I'd be out of a job, that's what!!!
Remember, blood on a purple robe may stain. Soak it in cold water, and hand
wash. I gotta leave. SHADOWSPIRE is like such a dump, and you guys smell too much!

enter this arena, and all managers must sign the "no-tourney" pledge. Turn 0 is due
on May 4 (overviews only) and Turn 1 is due on May 18.
To avoid confusion, all old inactive teams which were in Seam have travelled to
Mazgourrah (DM 77).
Seam is the newest arena to join the no-tourney group of arenas and will process on
opposite weeks with Shadowspire (DM 81), the original no-tourney arena. Other no-
tourney arenas include Telorinthe (DM 83), a slow arena, and Storm Rock (DM 107), for
