SPY REPORT
Good afternoon, spectators, and welcome to the glorious jewel of the Alastari
games known as Shadowspire. It is a hot one here today with the sun beating
down upon the sands, turning them into a veritable furnace of sand, sweat, and
steel (with the occasional quarterstaff thrown in for good measure). I bought
a loaf bread at Otto's before venturing to the arena. By the time I arrived,
it was toast. Anyway, long story short, it's hot! Let's get to the arena
action.
Mordecai Mouse leaves for the Isle of the Eye in style by making a challenge
to the Dark Arena. He faced Stone Golem and the result was painful! Luckily,
he has Lady Greywand's healers watching over him now, and they are without a
doubt unparalleled in the resurrection and healing business! Stepping in to
fill the empty seat by recognition points, we have The Paperboy from The
Commodores. Congrats to Hombre and his squad. The real test comes next turn
as he faces challenges from a formidable group of Challenger Champions.
The most avoided team was Darque Ages and Monster Manual avoided them the
most. The Empress Wu had a full dance card this turn, but only The Paperboy
got the opportunity to see her on the dance floor. He insisted on taking the
lead as well, seizing the throne in the process. Wicked Martyrs remains the
top team with a 9-6-1 record, edging out Furry Fury with a kill. Monster
Manual moves into the top 5 from the 8 spot. The biggest gain came from
Inebriation as they take over 4th place, gaining 7 places. Dragonbane Guild
did not make into the top 5, but a 6 spot gain is worth noting.
Faces are long at the Darque Ages' guildhouse this day as they bid farewell to
two warriors. The mediocrity that was named Tomoe Gozen fell to the blade of
Ryk the Dragon from Big Lake Outcasts. Farther down the ranks, Fulk Nerra
randomly matched up but certainly died at the hands of Schendle, a member of
Pray the Gods. Otherwise, the turn was uneventful on the life and death front
with an arena stand by and our departing Duelmaster falling as well. Mordecai
Mouse was promptly resurrected and began packing for the Isle. As for the
Embezzling Scribe, he is still dead and no one cares. The over/under for his
funeral attendance is 3. Place your bets at Otto's Diner.

thought you were too dumb to realize that. Congrats. Second, if you were to beat any
of my warriors I would probably quit managing teams. Funny that the very turn you
talk trash to me, the weakest member on my team destroys the strongest member of your
team. So, you don't use TB as a "helping crutch to win" huh? Here are some other

working pens, unstained strategy sheets, strategy, intelligence (oops already

you were not so lucky. Please, take a moment to recognize the true ineptitude of our
arena. How about Lady Mordraith's Some Kind of Hate? Should be called Some Kind of
Really Absolutely Horrible Team Managed by an Idiot, but I guess that is too many
letters for a team name. Nevertheless, her 0-5 is notable. Pray the Gods went 0-2,
not sure if your prayers are being heard, did you try folding your hands? And, not to
get all "rules" on you, but here in Shadowspire you pledged to fight a full team, so
you need to fight all 5 guys each and every turn. Thanks for your keen observance of
