Notes from the arena champ.
Greetings subordinates!
Your Duelmistress Zayla is here and I am not off to the isle so you will enjoy my
company for multiple turns! Speaking of company, this woman has needs and it's
difficult to find a man who is not intimidated by my success as a gladiator, I suppose
that being the Duelmistress will make it even tougher? Maybe once I retire I will
become a madame and establish a "cat house" for all of us females in this city?
Enough talk about the future, let us talk about the past, as in last turn. Fast
Hack'em 9, I was surprised that you sent a challenge my way, I suppose Hombre thought
since I challenged you the turn prior he'd return the favor? Different turn, same
result! Sorry Fast Hack'em 9, I guess you couldn't hack it!
I don't have much time for you all this week as I learned some valuable skills from
Fast Hack'em 9 that I want to try out in the training yard!

SPY REPORT
So why do I have this bag over my head? Because I am The Unknown Spymaster and
I'm going to give you a spy report!. We now have a new top team for all of you guys
to dogpile on. CULT OF BACCHUS now holds the crown and they are betting they can
keep it. A stormcloud is brewing over the SEARCH THE SKY guildhouse. Rumor says any
more weeks like this ones 2-3-0 may send the team to the Dark Arena. Coming up with
a solid 4-1-1 outing, CULT OF BACCHUS has advanced 8 places in the rankings. It
looks like the guys(?) at CLAN LONGBEARD had a good week as they went 4-1-0 to put
them in 11th place. I guess steroids help! Hey everybody, watch out for DEATH DOG,
who flew up 26 points in the rankings after mashing GOTTERDAMMERUNG like a melon.
Keep your eye on this guy. And falling like a basher in the top ten was SON OF
BLAGGER, who dropped 21 points after a disappointing (to say the least) bout with
BLOODLUST. Well, everybody's pal ZAYLA moved hers record to 15-6-0 by defeating
TRISTAN in the Duelmaster's Title Bout and gaining 12 recognition points. An apple a
day keeps the doctor away, but an onion a day keeps T.P.s at bay.
But enough of that bunch, let's get on to the wimps who like to avoid battle!
And hey, kiddies, those of you who didn't avoid OTTO'S DINER, please raise you hand.
Wow. Does SHADOWSPIRE really have that many liars? And you guys like to boo me?
Well, unsling your rasberries, cause FROM THE LEFT beats feet every time OTTO'S DINER
smiles at them. Try farming, eh? And who is this CLARA D'ANDUZA you ask, with 91
points and a 12-3-0 record. Ooh, the tales I could tell! Challenging down 21 points
was STAR STREAK. Pretty soon she'll be using two shields and selling 'T.P.: The
only way to clean up' pins. I just want to congratulate FERDOWSI on beating STAR
STREAK. He overcame his superior-ranked opponent and gained 22 points. Congrats!
Getting lots of flowers from sympathetic fans was HAMM, who was successfully
challenged by FEAR MONGER who had a mere 26 points more than HAMM. Definition of
petty: FEAR MONGER overcame HAMM, a mismatch of 26 points. Can any one out there
say 'weasel'? Oh well, just saying CHOKE will do. It challenged 29 points down to
trash SRI PONNA. Definition of petty: CHOKE beat SRI PONNA, a mismatch of 29
points. Challenging down 16 points was SOCIAL JUSTICE. Pretty soon he'll be using
two shields and selling 'T.P.: The only way to clean up' pins. Here is a definition
of happiness: MIGHTY MIXON won victory over SOCIAL JUSTICE to go from 5 to 18
recognition points. In a touching display by a 'touched' warrior, KNIFEFIST went
after KROW, who was higher by 23 points. Well, when the dust settled, KNIFEFIST was
bested by KROW.
Remember that an arena is not always a safe place to be, but it is one of the
most interesting, though! It's not often when you see a 6-3-0 warrior like SAMMY
LIGHTFOOT kick the bucket. I wonder if THE COMMODORES will recover from the blow. I
have no doubt that WARBOW will be celebrating long and loud their warrior DEATH DOG's
slaying of GOTTERDAMMERUNG on the sands. In the 'Oops, What Have I Done?' category,
THREE SHEETS was mashed by CLARA D'ANDUZA, who let THREE SHEETS know that killing
members of DARQUE AGES is a no-no. Ask not the elves for counsel, for they will say
both yes and no. Silly buggers, eh?
Well, there's the manager of the SHADOWSPIRE giving me the 'cut' sign (or is
that 'They're going to strangle you in the alley?). Okay, so I may not be the
world's best comedian, but then you guys aren't the world's best warriors. Its been
fun, and I'm sure you enjoyed it (boos). Now that I've got you worked up for Snide

was a powerful chaotic artifact, and she kept it with her always. She had turned his
predecessor into a frog--or 164 frogs--and then summoned all the members of the
Academy to a frog-leg dinner. That had been, ah, bad. Yes, very bad.
But here he was entering her chambers. With, well, it couldn't be called GOOD
news. And the look she turned on him--she was in an orcish mood today, all scowling
