Well, ain't this a comfy chair? (pats the armrests of the DM throne) The only problem
is it's too far away from the bar. How am I supposed to drink from here?

Huh? What? BlackHart just said "Try to hold onto that chair!". Why? Is the chair
spinning for him, too? (leans head to the right...blinks rapidly...snaps head back
upright) Ooof! Not good. Need more drink.

BlackHart said next rounds are on him! (leaves chair unsteadily, heading for the

SPY REPORT

Good afternoon, duel fans! Huard DePriest here to bring you all the news that is
worth printing, or at least the juiciest gossip we can dig up on the managers and
warriors of Shadowspire. Unlike From the Left, we aren't here to tell you what to
think, we are here to give you the information. What you do with it is totally up to
you. I have a few suggestions, but my editor is giving me the stink eye, so I'll keep
those to myself. Let's move onto the arena action for turn 289, shall we?
Three Sheets has had an amazing career in Shadowspire. A decent win/loss record
and a steady climb up the rankings. Last turn, he defeated to Boalzebul to take over
the throne of Shadowspire. Turn 289 gives us the first opportunity to witness Three
Sheets as defending champion. The top Wall of Steel in the arena received a challenge
from the Chartered Recognition Leader and top Lunger in the arena, Moduin. The fans
sure got a treat with this one. Rarely do we see the top warriors face one another on
the sands in an epic bout. And, oh lands, was this one epic. Three Sheets defeats
Moduin in a 3 minute fight, and the crowd loved it! Congrats to the Drunken Master...
I mean Duelmaster Three Sheets on a successful defense. He is managed by BlackHart.
The most avoid team, according to the golems, is From the Left. The guild was
avoided mostly by Cult of Bacchus. The most challenged warrior for the turn, once
again according to the golems, is our former Duelmaster, Boalzebul. He was
bloodfeuded by Mighty Mixon from Cult of Bacchus. A few turns back, turn 287 to be
exact, Boalzebul killed Blythe. MM was simply trying to get a bit of revenge, but
sadly it did not work out well for him. He lost to Boalzebul in a one-sided fight.
The only other challenge worthy of mentioning saw The Leper's Hand going down by 14 to
challenge Bottom Feeder. This challenge was no doubt a retaliation by Big Lake
Solution against Kill Em All's down challenge on the previous turn; however, unlike
last turn, the challenger won this bout.
We only had a single death last turn, as Poetry Slam put down Yellow Belley.
While this resulted in a bloodfeud this turn as Choke challenged Poetry Slam, the
result was predictable. From the Left found themselves on both sides of the feud this
turn, as they sought vengeance for one of their fallen. Starving Artist challenged
Rutu Parna, he was able to come away with the victory over Pray the Gods' warrior.
Two bloodfeuds and two successes for the turn. Sadly, there were no regular arena
deaths. There were 4 Dark Arena deaths, but let's be real, those are only exciting
when the monsters die!
Last turn's top team, Cult of Bacchus, had a big slip from 1st to 7th after going
2-3-0. Pray the Gods takes over the top team with a 10-3-1 record. Big Lake Solution
rises one to the 2nd spot after a 3-2-0 turn. Kill Em All also had a nice gain and
moved into 3rd, also with a 3-2-0 record for the turn. Despite a 1-4-0 effort, Dark
Ages remain in 4th. Shanghaied rounds out the top 5 and has a nice collection of
awards to go along with their gain. The biggest loss for the turn belongs to Cult of
Bacchus, while the biggest gain goes to Shanghaied. Welcome back to Crambus and War
Machine. Sadly, there are still no Unchartered Teams in Shadowspire.
Time for me to make like a tree and get out of here. Hmm, that never makes sense
to me. I hope to see you back next turn. Can the Duelmaster retain keep his chair or
will we be praising another champion? The Challenger Champions certainly look like a
formidable crew, well, if you do not look too closely they appear dangerous! Ah, we
will just have to wait until turn 290 to find out. Phineas has a new edition of the
Shadowspire Yellow Press (SYP) for you next turn, so you won't want to miss it!

sorting out our affairs in Niytyole after the Darkfart revolution lingering from the
last tournament. You know how that guy is, hands titles out like they are nickels and
then takes them away like they are man-hole covers. The always entertaining Court
Jester has promised a resurgence here in Shadowspire, but you also know it takes that
guy about three days to decide whether he will wipe from the left side or the right
side. Finally, our mighty General Ikillu has taken some time away from the northern
armies and is currently running in Niytyole again. His presence was requested in
Sunset, but he may be cajoled into a stop here. You never know, the comings-and-
goings of the Allied Axis is a mystery and varied, but is certainly the fabric that
