TEAM SPOTLIGHT
You know what's sad? Well, several things actually. But let's hit our top seven for
good luck:
1. I gave that Game Of Thrones wannabe wench parry riposte, Khaleesi, every chance to
win.
2. I was wandering around the arena with sweat blinding my eyes in Minute 4 and she
did nothing except ultimately stand in the way of my weapon until she died
squealing like the pig she was. She even said I'd need to do better so I did,
clubbing her into the sand for an eternal sand nap.
3. Castrated challenged down about 60 points and almost 4x FE to avenge the sad wench
that was his teammate. He won, handily, almost chopping off my right leg. Honor
among thieves and whatnot.
4. Apparently the one-sided win made Castrated happy and so he down-challenged again.
I'm not really much for that sort of assininity, so I smacked him around to teach
him better manners.
5. I've pretty much taught this "Isle-ready" waste of flesh -- whose parents probably
paid someone to say he'd done crew to get Isle admission -- as much has he has
taught me and, well, that's just sad.
6. I fully expect the newly-emboldened Castrated, freshly armed with his favorites
and immortality, will down-challenge yet again and, the score being tied at 1 and
1, will probably call it a "rubber match" to try to justify it. The only rubber
of note, of course, being the one that should have been worn before Castrated came
into existence.
7. Darque Ages will soon pay Dark Wages. There will be wages paid for this idiocy.

Notes from the arena champ.
Greeting Shadowspire! Hmmm seems Andy Skildom decided to take a shot at the throne
and after nearly three dozen swings it dropped like a rock to the sand. Funny thing is
Andy got the 2 skills I need to get my invite, while I got diddly. Ohh well two skill
learns or five fights to go, if I don't lose my head.

SPY REPORT
Welcome back to Shadowspire! It is good to see the arena stands with spectators! It
is only half-full, but I'll take any fans at this point, even you guys and gals! I
know you missed me, but keep your distance! I'm delicate! Okay, now that at least
half of my adoring audience is back, I'll get started on this spy report! Let's look
at the results for this turn.
Pavil is still the top dog in the arena. Gladiators beneath him keep trying to take
the title away, but no one has availed yet. According to his manager, he is just
waiting for an invitation to the Isle. There are murmurs around the Commission heads
about inducting him into the Advanced games, but nothing yet! This turn, Duelmaster
Pavil faced off against Leper's Other Hand. Leper's Other Hand made the challenger,
but it doesn't look like he strategized correctly to topple the top Total Parry.
You're welcome for that awesome and amazing alliteration!
The most avoided team this time was Pray the Gods. They were mostly avoided by
Oakleaf. Pray the Gods went 3-2-1, including a win against a challenging Oakleaf
warrior. Oakleaf went 0-5, so I can't say that the avoids were productive. The most
challenged warrior is Bat Penatar. This is interesting, especially since Bat was
inactive last turn. I still thing people are mad at her because her name is Bat and
it was a bat that started all this crazy. Completely unrelated, I know, but people
just like a target for their pent up rage! Pretty Petunia challenged Bat Penatar and
won in a 1-minute bout!
There were more than a few deaths, but most of them happened in the Dark Arena. Even
our dear Arenamaster was not immune from Ahringol's touch this cycle. The Commodores
sent Pengo and Mr. Weems to the Dark Arena. Sadly, Mr. Weems is no more, but Pengo
was able to put down Arenamaster, which is no small feat! Maybe Hombre will
reconsider poor Pengo's future now. Or, let's be honest, send him back to the Dark
Arena in a rage! The only regular death to occur fell upon poor Walter Raleigh. I
thought he was a "Sir." Or do interdimensional titles not carry over to Alastari?
Anyway, Sapna put the nail in Walter's coffin, or a shortsword in his liver, not sure!
I'm trying to paint you a picture here! Bah, cretins!
Time for me to go! I would call you bums, but only half of you are here and I don't
want the other bums to feel left out! So, come back next turn and make my job a bit
more enjoyable. Really, y'all make it worth coming to work everyday! Who else am I
going to mock and ridicule from the safety of my press box and behind a wall of arena
guards? That's right! You're special!
